  • Saw 9 to 10 NS since last night on the Pune streets, she is definitely gonna have good street presence in near future.
Also visited one of the Bajaj showroom at Pune, 2 NS were there for service, bike really got lot good quality parts on its body compared to earlier generation of pulsars, was really very surprised seeing this.

If one of the bikes at the svc was yellow, then it was mine...

@surojit: dada.. complete running in soon and provide a post running in report soon (sorry if I sounded rude or anything.. just a little too curious).. and keep the pics coming.. a big fan.. your pictures kept me alive in Chennai waiting for this bike..
I am not sure how good a report I can provide but I will keep you guys updated of whatever issues I face and whatsoever I feel is relevant to this forum...
And I am glad to know that you liked my pics... more pics on my facebook page.

Visit Dewan Bajaj Lajpat Nagar. Yellow is available for Rs. 95600.

I visited Dewan Bajaj Dwarka, Near mangla puri flyover. There was a person who was dealing with us and was telling us about the bike. He said that he himself has driven the bike till 145 kmph . I was thinking in my mind u must have driven one of these for sure.

          • Guys on doubt on Life time tax in Karnataka, in RTO site its mentioned 10% for bikes > 50k plus 10% cess on that amount. So if 85k is the ex showroom price in Karnataka, on road would be around 85000 + 8500 + 850 = 94350 + Insurance etc right? or is the life time tax changed now?
Past : Pulsar 220 DTSi (Pune)
            Current : Kawasaki Bajaj Caliber 115 (B'lore)
            Future : Bajaj Pulsar 200NS (B'lore)

+1. I myself was a stark pulsar (or rather Bajaj) basher until I saw NS. Though things were improved with 220, 200 NS has taken it to next level altogether. I fell for it so much so that, now I own one. Problem is, I can't ride it. It can only be on road by coming Tuesday Due to rains n sad office timings, have not taken her for small ride / photo shoot, so this lame post. But forum is flourished with Surojit's pics, so I don't feel the need to add my blurry & dark camera mobile pics

Not sure about exact fig, but its highest in India. Imagine, automobiles costing more in Bangalore than here in Mumbai even though you pay 4% octroi At least that's what the situation was 3 years back when I bought ZMA there.

It often takes a humiliating overtake to understand that an early jump off the red light won't help them lead the pact. All I want to say is - Go after green.

              • Interesting numbers!!!

I just had a glance at the Motorcycle Ownership home page and found that Honda CBR 150R thread had started on 8th April and has a very low count of posts, 1168 to be precise as I write this, may be because the owners are busy enjoying their ride and this P200NS has gone berserk starting 9th June and we are now over 1200 posts in less than a month.

Kudos to Mr. Bajaj to have given us a bike that can become a cult. Also, after having followed the thread since Day 1, I see this bike has captured the new and eager bikers. Most of the posts in this thread are from newbies like Me.

Thanks to @MG, @Payeng, @Consciyash, @Chintan, @Surojit and many more who have contributed to this thread. Keep the pics, reviews and experiences flowing mates.
                Regards,

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

                    • .........While it shows up in Ahmedabad!
Manan Bajaj @ Maninagar has got the first batch of P200NS. Just one bike has been kept at the showroom while the others are at the go-down.
The bikes will be available for test rides this week end onward. The actual deliveries will happen between 20-25th of July.
This is me atop a p200NS. My height is 6'1 and from preliminary examinations I found this bike to be a "big" bike with presence. I liked the little attention to details and the overall feel and quality of the bike. Every thing is very upmarket and the build quality is top notch. I have booked it and will be taking delivery on the said dates.

I currently own an eight month old P135LS which is the first bike I've owned. I don't understand what issue people have with build quality of Pulsars. I was told the pulsar would fall to bits in 2 months and what not. I have found the bike to be extremely stable in all of the 10,000 kms I have done on it in the last 8 months, routinely outpacing most 150cc bikes in India and have had NO maintenance or build quality issues with regular oil changes and services as mentioned in the service manual. I believe this myth of build quality was something propagated by Honda, Hero and Yamaha dealerships.

                        • Is the Crash Gaurd big enough?

@All Owners, MG and Payeng: Do you think the crash guard is big/wide enough? In case a bike falls down will the petrol tank cover touch the ground??
This is one big reason why I prefer naked bikes over the fully faired ones for city rides... As these days we have insane traffic in Bangalore...

I mean others have 5 to 6.. more than that at times.. any idea on that?.. and.. a little more light on oil change after 100kms.. the importance of it that is.. is it just a healthy practice or.. mandatory to do so.. • @annydhanya : My P200NS fell when one of my friend was riding it. It was the leg guard/crash gaurd that saved the petrol tank. I also found it small in comparison to my old Pulsar but on that particular incident it saved my tank. My friend at that time was riding at speed of 30.

@govind.one : Every company has its own policy for free services. In the end the customer has to pay price for free service as company calculates cost of Free service while deciding the price of product itself. I guess no one in this world would give anything for free, it is always calculated in the price. Companies are here to make profits bro. And i guess if they would have given 3 more free services than the price of P200NS would be higher by 1000 or so.

                              • Hi all..

Payeng advised me that after first servicing I should open the throttle a bit.

in fact in pune whatever it may be.. city or highway.. you never ever get chance to ride easily.. someone will definitely jump into your way from nowhere so we have to be very careful while riding..

                                1) after first servicing/500 kms.. I rode this bike till 75km/h.. It is more smoother and it actually became more responsive.. "more" in every positive sense.. in every gear.. till 5k RPM (I have not crossed it yet) HOW?? I don't know! I actually followed what Payeng has mentioned in his RUN-IN related Blog.. THANKS PAYENG!!

                                2) One day I was at 70 kmph I was roaming around the city with my wife.. and on dog jumped infront of me.. I applied brake and with lot of fear in side about the eurogrip.. and WOW!! what a STOP from 70 - 0 !! with full grip on the road!!

                                3) there was/are lot of negative points in our mind.. including me.. about the quality.. performance.. reliability.. trust!! this is the one bike I see as a matured product.. came to brake our every perception regarding BAJAJ.. This bike has huge responsibility to change mindsets.. fill backlogs.. and it is changing.. and it will..

I will be giving my ownership experiences.. +'s and -'s!! till date there is not a single negative point except rear MUDGUARD!
