Problems noticed by me on my ns.
Hi Guys i just got my bike 3 days ago and ive ridden it a good 350 kms. Dunno why but my bike is misfiring or losing power between the 6 to 7k rpm band. I dint notice it before because i was not revving the bike above 5k rpm but as soon as i tried it came to my notice. Anyone else facing this issue?? also i noticed that downshifting is a bit problematic.
Spoke to the showroom guys they say wait for the first 1000 kms but i dont feel its a normal issue. other owners please advisesigpic The best way to stop is by doing a stoppie!!!

It's a small issue, rare but also happen with my friends's Dazzler should take 10 mins to sort out.Originally posted by rocketjack View PostOn Saturday evening bumped into the very first issue with my NS..
The Neutral indicator wont light up
Not a show stopper, but still...
Did not get a chance to take it up to the service center....Will do that some time this week.
The 2nd spark plug may not be firing, not a big issue, the OEM spark plug could also be culprit here.Been There, Done That; Better!

misfires mainly happen because of improper ignition in the cylinder .. this may be because of low quality petrol or improper ignition timing of spark plugs ..
just change the petrol once .. if the problem still exists then just tell yourself that it will take some time by bajaj to rectify the problems in the triple spark tech ...

Yeah...its mostly a loose contact or maybe a blown LED.

I heard from KLN that test drive is July 18th onwards..
@Chintan: thanks a ton for all the pictures.. loved them!
@all other 200Nsians: thanks for pictures.. reviews.. experiences.. for making my wait less painful..!!
@anirude : I have not faced this problem and as the bike is in RUN IN period i am not riding it at 6000rpm. I have tried once for twice at 5000rpm but that was only for a short distance and i did not face problem during that period. I suggest you to take your bike to the service centre and get it checked.
The service guys are not responding to you saying that it happens till 1000kms. If they do not entertain you properly please write to bajaj customer care. Also as you have clocked 350kms i suggest you to ride for another 100kms and get your 1st service done and report all problems at that time.

1) Fuel/Oil accumulation on the spark plug.
Cause will lead not to ignite the fuel..

Rajiv Bajaj on CNBC today told that they dispatched 2200 P200NS for June 2012. They plan to dispatch 5000 for JULY 2012. 2200 P200NS in june were dispatched to Maharashtra alone. In July they plan to ship to major parts of india. This time he did not mention any city or state.

Dealer Call
Hi Frnds,
Finally, I got a call from Fair Deal Bajaj dealer [Patparganj Road] stating the bike has arrived and would be available for sale from tomorrow afternoon onwards. Today, Bajaj people are busy with bikes and their test ride so won't be delivering today.
Its like a wait which was a too much for me. I booked in March 18th, 2012 and its July now. As the bike was available in Delhi from last 10-11 days, was always thinking of going and buying from other dealers. But, they always said it will come tomorrow, they after tomorrow and like this days passed. More over I had paid money to them in advance so I was left with nothing but to wait. Will bring in the bike tomorrow evening. Excited like hell.
But guys, still I couldn't get my head clear about the color. Which one should I go for Black or Red
? I like them both. Practicality wise, Red offfers dual tone color which Black doesn't. Please help me choose a color.
Always Wear Your Helmets and Ride Safe

Thanks & Regards

Ashwini you need to decide the color on your own. I love black so i went for Black one while Rocketjack and others love red so they opted for it. It looks great in Yellow as well (Yash and Suro have posted great pics). It depends mainly on personal choice.
I have posted pics of my bike yesterday so please check them. I hope they would help you in your decision.
Congrats in advance.

To all 200NS owners,
Are you all hearing the common TAK TAK sound after switching off the bike after riding it for a considerable time?
What I understood from a fellow xbhpian is that the particular sound comes due to some "Silencer Cooling Mechanism" or due to the "Catalyst Converter" (although he was not sure of that).
I ask this because 200NS has a Under belly exhaust, which is different from the other normal exhaust systems.sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.
Only thing I can say - "The storm is coming"

That's nice number. I just want my NS to give 40+ to 45 mileage.
I got a run of 30 % city 70 % highway. How much FE should I expect under sane riding. Plus, which petrol do you use? Normal petrol or the High End one.Always Wear Your Helmets and Ride Safe
