that seems right .. no comparisons from now on from my side just because different people will have different needs and different tastes .. one shoud buy whatever reflects their character more and what their heart says ..Originally posted by payeng View PostThis is an ownership thread, the comparison / doubt is much better if it's posted on the "What Bike?" Thread.
Lets keep this thread for what it is intended for.

Well FYI my college is in your college..I am in KIETOriginally posted by ashwini.anand23 View PostCongrats bro. I'm going to get mine today. Hope to catch up with you sometime in near future. You said the on road price is Rs 95,700. Can you please specify in more details like [ex-showroom, on-road, warranty cover, accessories] price etc.
It was said by Zigwheels that the on road price in Delhi will be Rs94,300. But, I inquired and found other dealers charging Rs 95,600 or Rs 95,700. Why this price deviation? I'm asking this because, my dealer asked me to pay Rs 96,900. I'm not sure about why this hike [Will visit the showroom today and inquire]. I'm going to buy this evening. Should I negotiate on price terms. If you compare it to Zigwheels price, the deviation comes out to be Rs 2,600 which is a lot.
Secondly about price, the bill i got is for Rs.94768
Rs.528 was for helmet which was deducted and rest i will confirm and let you know soon.
Bagga Link declined my request of negotiation.
From which showroom are you thinking of buying?

Yes, this point looks correct. Yesterday i saw a Duke riding beside be stopped immediately, it looks like if you don't keep reeving in 1st-2nd gear engine will stop. If people are not used to ride in a High revs they will find riding Duke difficult. But people who have come up riding RX100 and love to Rev hard will feel at home with duke.Originally posted by Abhi D View PostAnd having a FI system is not necessarily a advantage of DUKE because in cities with constant stopping+idling, DUKE sometimes tends to stop completely causing an erratic situation and add to the fact that DUKE gets too much hot when idling cooking up one's legs.

its going to be pulsar 200ss ( super sports ) with full fairing and front biased riding position and lower handlebars .. the engine specs remain same but the gearing will be longer to accomodate more top speed .. it will be more fuel efficient on highways .. acceleration will take a hit because of added weight and longer gearingOriginally posted by Horror View PostIs there a new thread for the faired pulsar 200NS/FS? That bike will be having good top end whack to it but giving out same power, and would weigh a bit more( I would say minimum 5-8 kgs more, or maybe even more?) So would people still go for it? Or is it only aimed at the fairing hungry crowd?

Wrong thread again:Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Postits going to be pulsar 200ss ( super sports ) with full fairing and front biased riding position and lower handlebars .. the engine specs remain same but the gearing will be longer to accomodate more top speed .. it will be more fuel efficient on highways .. acceleration will take a hit because of added weight and longer gearing
The above "prediction" deserves to be the in "Speculation Thread"
[Now please don't quote any "Blog's link" as source for the prediction]

Post it on DUKE THREAD..Originally posted by Rohan200nsguys the main reason for me buying duke is my dad .. i had booked ns and was happy with it ..my dad has owned rx100 and rd350 in past so even he a bit of an enthusiast..
i once took my dad to ktm showroom . he too went for a test ride and he directly told me that this is the bike to own and ride ..go have it and dont ask for anything else .. he told me that this bike is going to keep me entertained for next three years minimum..
he liked the character of the bike and didint want to buy me anything else ..my dad actually has more biking experience than me .. he explained me about the mad character of duke and the impression that it leaves on everyone around ... hence , duke it is for me .
Share your experiences there.. might be someone there also have same feelings.. It will GROW!!
