I've ridden my bike about 400kms so i guess my stock eurogrip ones would have to be kept as an option as I don't think any dealer will be willing to take them.
yes you can keep the stock tyres for emergency purpose ..i dont think any dealer would buy a used tyre for a fair price ...i havent used speed demon so dont know much about it .. r15 is known for cornering and its tyres are custom built for r15 by mrf for track use ..i honestly feel that mrf revz will offer more than sufficient grip .. it cost lesser as well .. you also have an option of cbr150 rear tyre , not radial though ..

        • Rider gets married to the bike - thats why he put a garland around the bike. hehehe , naa im just kiddin'. It is an Indian custom to get their vehicles blessed by visiting a holy place of worship and offering prayers and getting a priest to bless it and to ward of evil. Mostly practiced by followers of Hinduism and even Christianity. Not aware of Islamic practices. The pictures u have posted are decorations put on the bike while offering prayer in a temple. I guess the rest of the guys can explain in more detail.

          • Finally........ I have seen Pulsar 200ns in Delhi in flesh this Sunday, personally i dont like the Blue and Black colours but red was awesome. They dont have the yellow yet but when i said i want the yellow they said that yellow will be available on Monday only and only one bike and that too is already booked. and bikes cost is Rs96000 on road all including, and yellow color is available at Rs2000 premium :-(

Even I belong to the same club.. Waiting for 26th July.. I want to see the bike in flesh.. Me being an automobile enthusiast and a automobile engineer still confused about Run in.... God save me.. PS: I am always excited to ride Pulsar than riding any other bike. Friends will be jealous and didn't inform anyone about the booking to surprise everyone.. Sorry if I went OT.

@ MG and payeng and others who have tested NS for long durations: How was the grip of stock tyres under hard braking/ panic braking/wet road? I have still not got answer to this question. Please share some info.
I would be taking delivery this friday... if tyres are bad i would like to go nd exchanage them..

Did not ride the 200NS is the wet, therefore can't comment about it's grip in the wet.

In case you want to put a different set of tyres, there are a few options in the market which are a direct fit on the 200NS. The front tyre of the FZ and the rear tyre of the R15 V2.0 is a direct fit on the 200NS. If you are really serious then you can also look at Pirelli "Sport Demon", they have got options which are of the same spec as that of the 200NS.

Thanks. How was the grip on normal roads at high speeds? And while leaning the bike while turning? I guess this you would have definitely done
I tried for Pirelli SD, but most of the dealers don't have the stock due to some ISI mark issue, and the one who have is asking for 3800.- for rear and 2800/- for front...and offering me very less discount on brand new Eurogrip tyres,1500/- for rear and 1000/-for front

On dry and normal roads there was no issue except the "psychological" thing at the back of your mind that the tyre is "Eurogrip"

the quoted price for the pirellis are normal prices... Try to bargain and he might settle for 100 bucks less... And the price you are getting for your eurogrip is also fine... c'mon man the dealer will sell those tires as new after washing it...atleast let him do a profit of 1000 bucks
