  • I don't care for magic mileage numbers, this bike looks good, goes good. What else do you want from a performance oriented bike ?
My frank advice to all who want magic number 58.
    Buy Discover
    I am loving my NS

did u notice any drop in the coolant level ?
There is a drop in coolant level, but then it wasnt much to begin with when i got the bike. Still above the min level though. Will get it changed during the first service.
can you feel any heat near your legs while riding ?
      Nope.
do you get to know when the radiator turns itself on ?
      Again, Nope

Looks like you didn't read the complete sentence regarding mileage of 58Kmpl
You get those figures only when you ride constantly at a speed of around 55Kmph.
And its impossible to do for anyone so forget about 58Kmpl.
45Kmpl is what you should get if you plan to use a performance bike or else buy a platina to get 100Kmpl.
        :) :D

Hey mate, the radiator as in every liquid cooled engine is always on when the engine is working, I think what you mean is if you get to know when the radiator's fans turn on and if I recall right Chintan mentioned that you do hear them/feel them turn on when they do but just when the engine is in low revs since higher revs are louder than the fans noise.

There's no better way to say it mate, why is it that people expect high FE from every machine made by Bajaj? The company is clearly not the same it was 15 years ago and still they have a range of products to fill everyone's needs, if you want a mean looking, inexpensive performer go for the 200NS, if you just care for FE go for a Discover as acknowledged above

Hey rocket, I want to know how you manage to measure oil and coolant levels since the bike doesn't have a centre stand, do you get someone to straighten the bike while you check the above mentioned or how do you do it?

Welcome to XBHP..Please don't use sms lingo.

If you are going for the finance option you have to pay some 40% down payment and your dealer(Some bank tie-ups) will pay the rest 60%. If you pay more down payment your EMI will be less.. You can always check it with your dealer..

              All the best..

                Hi Fawazmb,

On behalf of all the xBhp'ians here, welcome to xBhp!

regarding the payment modes. Guess there should be some options for 2-wheeler loans. You can check it with your nearest Bajaj dealer. The dealer shall help you out in getting loans, if required. But, there can be a case of preference going for customers who are ready to pay the cash in full.

The sales guy told me that they will get the test ride bikes by 10th July, and they will commit the deliveries form then on. I got to visit the Pro-biking too, the guy there also told that they will get 200 NS for display by early next month.
I did not get a color preference either... However i have informed the showroom person that I would be going with Yellow...

5 Days back the sales guy told me that the test ride vehicle would arrive by 25th this month

I am setting my expectations to August 1st week... If it comes before that well and good...

I do not understand the point of Phased release strategy adopted by Bajaj for P-200 NS!!!

if you are following xbhp for 2 months then you should know that sms language and stylish words ending with 'z' like 'itz', 'methodz' are not allowed in xbhp...please go through the terms and condition once.... As for your query you can opt for finance...

                      +1....

lol.. those guys are expecting high figures because RB claimed 58kmpl..under 55 kmhr... and also they are saying with 3 spark plugs, increase fuel efficiency. here peoples see only those "58kmpl" words.
No one can ride NS @ 55/hr everytime. For this kinda performance bike, it must be ridden at least above 60.

                        • @rocketjack - thanks for the info ..

we buy performance bikes to show the world that we have enough money to turn them into smoke just for fun and excitement ..
honestly speaking 35kmpl is what we should be happy with .. even my fz used to give me 35-45kmpl ...
50+kmpl from ns is a bit too optimistic ... its not a commuter ( my dad's HH passion used to give 55kmpl )
most of the times i ride as if my tail is on fire ,, so 30-35kmpl is what i am expecting ...

                          • I had a pulsar 150 and I used to get 50+ I used to drive that in 50-70 mostly and 80+ rarely. Can I expect a 40+ in NS from that driving style?
(Yes I do want performance but petrol price is damn so high these days )

Its not that difficult to stand on both of your legs with the bike in between and bend and read the coolant level.
And I am over six feet tall, that helps.
