are you going easy on the bike for first 2000kms ??
i mean , i have owned stunner and fz16 in the past and i have regularly shown them 8000rpm from the first day itself ... it is very important that the piston rings get sealed when the engine is new .. this will happen only when u operate the engine in high rpms.. my fz had run for 45000kms in 2 years and had no problems and was returning a mileage of 38-42kmpl ..

...I can't think much to write now, barely 40 kms odo. More details after I rake in more miles.

      Regards.
Great review for being just the first couple days with your new lady mate, at first I thought you were quoting a major magazine LOL then I realised it was you.

Can you please upload short video of a cold start with choke but without touching the throttle to check out how easily does it start when it's cold?

And now that I ask you this can you please also show us how easy is it to gain access to the choke lever from the sitting position?

Thanks again for the neat little review.
Do not click it unless you have an open mind...

I don't expect anyone to find the RS4125 looking bad, with that underslung exhaust. And for people who find the Panigale 1199 ugly, I don't think the exhaust is one of the big reasons.
I agree with you mate. If I am not wrong, Kawasaki Ninja 650 R flaunts a fairing but not an elongated exhaust and I hope that people don't hate the design. If there is some problem with N 650R, not being an eye catcher as its younger bro, its because of the lower part of the fairing painted in black, which is stealth.

Even I want to upgrade from my P150 to something bigger, powerful yet easy on pocket, touring capable and not as heavy as the moon itself. P200 NS ticks a lot of check boxes for me, except of course my attraction to fairing.

              • all the matt black plastic parts near the tank , side panels , tyre hugger will lose their color and become white in a few months .. i had experienced the same with my fz ...
is there a choke in this bike or is it auto-choke like p220 ??

i have sold the bike 10 days back to buy 200ns .following are the pics that i had taken when i had polished the bike inside out.. i have applied dashboard polish to all the matt-black plastic parts and engine parts .. its basically the same plastic that they use in dashboard of activa and dio .. just look at the dashboard of 1 year old dio, activa or access .. you will get an idea of the color fade .. fade happens due to sunlight...

                    • There is a manual choke. Its placed below the frame on left hand side below the fuel on/off/reserve switch

IMO NS's case will not like that.

                            • This is my first post on XBHP. First of all congrats to Chintan, Consciyash, Makarand & Rocketjack for your Beasts!!!

I have booked an NS(Yellow) at Bangalore. Initially the showroom guy said the expected date of delivery is June 15th but now it is extended by a month or so... The wait is going on and on and on... (The test ride vehicle is expected to reach Bangalore by the end of June)

                              • Congrats to all the proud owners and those who are going to be the prows owners. I know the wait is really tiring, hands itching for that first ride.

I have contacted with three dealers in kerala and some say delivery can be July 2nd week and others that it will be only in August. Also the booking amount goes upto 10000.

Keep the reviews coming!!! enjoy your rides.
