In my point of view somehow, the looks of the bike does not excites me much. Maybe and hopefully if bajaj comes up with fairing version of this bike, it will make me and many of us go bonkers. Bajaj, a sharp fairing for this mean machine plzz.
Anyway, congrats to all the owners of this bike here
Never heard a music more soulful than that of a superbike machine

I just read throughout the whole thread.
@Chintan : Thanks for the video.
In kerala , I went to the showroom (now I believe in the agent , as even before anyone knew the price , the dealer told me : ex-showroom price will be 85K and that happened
) and they told me that the bike will be available for delivery on July and test drive piece will be available this month. But at the same time , they used to call me up and tried to make me go for the Pulsar 220F ( :/ ).
Guess its a long wait for me...~::.Outrun By No-One.::~
Currently owned : HH Splendor [1995 - Still Have it] , Pulsar 200NS [2012]
Future plans : R1 by 2017 , I hope :D

I completely agree with Mr. MG, the test mules for instance are abused for hours on the bajaj test track without a rest and taken to the red line from time to time without showing any signs of fainting or failure and that is something Mr. MG can confirm since he has test them. I for one did the motoman run in to my P220 without any hint of a problem whatsoever. Nowadays the companies instruct you to do a soft run in just to avoid having to repair failures of their own rushed assembly and to prevent people to go crazy off of the showroom in a bike they don't have full knowledge of and thus preventing premature accidents. I would rather have my bike fail during the warranty period than after it expires and yet it hasn't fail anyways.
Yes, I know it is an extremely controversial topic but I'm talking of my own experience and not of something I just read somewhere so please if you feel strongly within your self that I'm a crazy man for saying what I just said that's ok by me.
Ride safe, live longer.
Cheers.

Guys any idea when is it launching in b'lore ? xO
Some say by june 20th deliveries start, some say june 4th bike is launched in b'lore and soon after that deliveries and just a website hinting it would get launched all over india by august !
Why can't bajaj just confirm a date may it be late but atleast there wouldn't be such confusion on the launch date !
The showroom I booked (Khivraj Bajaj, Kasturba Road) has no idea of price, no test rides,no confirmation of deliveries, no details or options of the bike whatsoever.
Bangalore being is biker's hub should be atleast 2-3-4 on the list of deliveries considering one of the highest biking population in this country xD
P.S I aint critizing Bajaj, but only should they improve their Showroom interaction relationship with customer's, since many customer are discouraged from buying this beast due to lack of information regarding launch and price.

For the Bangalore riders,I am in touch with Kalyani Bajaj near mekhri circle. If the updates are to be believed, they are assuring for the delivery to happen in the first week of July. Also they are not sure of the color options, neither the price. The funniest part was when the lady on call answered for the price ," it is either less than a Lakh or more than a lakh" leaving a big window
I speculate it to be slightly higher than a lakh mark, considering the Karnataka road tax.

Rajiv Bajaj has promised it to be less than a lakh. I can definately vouch his statement. Considering ex-showroom price of 85000 + 15% of tax and other should be closer to 99000 as priced in Mumbai.Originally posted by shreearchie View PostFor the Bangalore riders,I am in touch with Kalyani Bajaj near mekhri circle. If the updates are to be believed, they are assuring for the delivery to happen in the first week of July. Also they are not sure of the color options, neither the price. The funniest part was when the lady on call answered for the price ," it is either less than a Lakh or more than a lakh" leaving a big window

I have also booked in Kalyani Bajaj, Mekhri Circle. They have also told me the same thing. The deliveries will commence from July 1st or 2nd. I really doubt that is going to happen.
BTW, do we have any statistics that how many bikes have been sold in Maharastra alone till date?

Today I saw a Red P200 NS in Pune (moving from Hinjewadi towards Vishal Nagar) at around 10 pm. Anybody from xbhp then lets meet up?
I chased him for around 2kms on my 220
. The rider was driving with pillon. I must say the bike looked awesome and sounded even better. It had superb acceleration which he displayed while climbing Hinjewadi bridge. Overall I must say I am impressed with it. Congratulations to all lucky ones who are owning these
