    • @ Chintan, you say you drive it for 25-30 KM daily, still you cannot give us a hint about its mileage,
sorry if it sounded rude, but you would be having some estimate about it.

While the other Representative stated it would be launched in 21st of June xS
Pretty confusing, hopefully it's worth the wait xD
I doubt that is going to happen. My booking stands at about 20 with my dealer "Kalyani Bajaj" Mekhri circle. Which dealer has confirmed you the date? Most of them are changing there words to august being delivery dates. Had called up khivraj motors today. They are expecting test ride vehicle by this month end. Remember my friend the first lot is to home state of Maharashtra. Hoping all the 2500 units manufactured being first lot will be phased out to home state. This is purely speculative. Correct me if I am wrong. The prices are also not announced in Bangalore.

Ya boss, looking at the plans that bajaj has, it seems that rest of India will get the bike by August. The dealers at kolkata are also saying the bike will be available by this month end, but I highly doubt that.
However the Probiking showroom at kolkata(now KTM) has said the bike will be available only during August

          • Hitesh I drive for 25-30kms daily but I don't drive it daily as it rains many times. My bike is jus 7 days old. If I had rough idea of mileage would definately tell you. As soon as I get the milega will let you know.

It means only about 2 visits to the service center for service (provided the bike is trouble free during the 5000 kms, which I hope will be..)
After first service, the remaining service interval of 5000km is indeed surprising...wonder if bajaj Dtsi oil.... will it last that much long?...and with already some signs of engine overheating...i think a full synthetic oil will be required to effectively work for 5000km.

              • I have been a staunch believer of following what the design team put in the manual. If they have provided a service interval and the oil which is best, I dont think anyone else could come up with something better.

Please keep in mind that it is this very design team which is giving us such machines to love and ride like there is no tomorrow!!!

People who are against bajaj DTSI oil may have their own reasons. Don't you think that ownership experience is more important than what's been written in the manual.

                    Its official guys.
We (non-maharastrians) have to wait till August mid to get our hands on the bike!!

Bajaj Pulsar 200NS to Launch all over India in August at price of Rs.85000 |

My advice to the guys; fix the money in a short term deposit scheme, and till then remain glued to this thread to know more about the bike!!

@rocket- Eagerly waiting for the pictures and comments of your beast!!

I also wonder about that. I guess even SS of Motul would be good for it.

                      • I had called up Nagpur, PBK (my home town). After asking about price and stuff, the sales guy told me they have 6 bikes (all colours), ready from the showroom, just pay and take!!
It seems they had pre ordered 20 of them, but there aren't much takers in Nagpur. Now I'm considering getting the bike from Maharashtra, and bringing it to Bangalore.

Man ohhh man, if you have the money, go for it, is the place too far away from your current location?

It's more than 1000Kms. I wanted to ride, but can also transport it, though Bajaj service wont support the bike here.

Well, in that case there's no other option than to wait till it is released on your city cause riding 1000kms for a service is quite a way mate.

the gearbox feels different than earlier generation of pulsars. its good.

the riding position is very commuter-ish, that what i felt. some may call it relaxed.

the paint-job and other things are good, but fit and finish is not what i expected. there were a few un-even gaps in body panels, specially where tank meets seat. typical pulsar like, not too upmarket kind of fit and finish.

                                bulb was indeed 55/60 W.

acceleration was good, though not as good as CBR250 ( this is my personal opinion as they have disconnected the speedo cable from front wheel, so speed was "zero" through my short test ride)- don't kill me for this comment, both are in different price segment and different CC etc.
