The problem is all my address proof is of Bangalore, so whatever the address proof i may have will not be valid in MH. I have been trying to convince the sales guy on phone to help me out with address proof (with whatever extra charges) as I do have a SBI account on my name on Nagpur address. But I guess he is really helpless. Nor do I have the time to spent at Nagpur RTO.Originally posted by Doga View Post

If you have an adress in nagpur then I don't see any problem in getting the bike registerdOriginally posted by rahuldevnath View PostThe problem is all my address proof is of Bangalore, so whatever the address proof i may have will not be valid in MH. I seriously salute your love and passion for 200NS. Hundreds of us are still deprived of the beast, and many of us had the same idea as yours, for getting the bike early. However, none of us(including ME) ever thought beyond that because of the hassles and impracticality.Originally posted by rahuldevnath View PostThe problem is all my address proof is of Bangalore, so whatever the address proof i may have will not be valid in MH. But looks like you are still serious about the idea. Hats off.

@shibadip I was gonna post the review yesterday itself but did not get time.

Just recollect the last time when you have seen a pulsar(any variant add)
Basic idea- why spent money on advertisement, when there is demand in itself.
Likewise you see, since there is more than expected demand for XUV500, they have stopped showing the ad.
P.S- just remembered there was the "HUNTO" ad for pulsar a short time back, however i guess only for a few days it was aired
@chintan99 - I know you are quite regular in this thread, and have consistently removed our doubts; but it have been short, and very specific. I think its time you give us a short review of your 1week ownership experience.
@rocket - Am eagerly waiting to see more pictures of your RED-BLACK beauty, along with your comments.

Oh 4pm, I was getting drunk that time.Originally posted by payeng View PostThere was a Yellow one on display today when I visited it at around 4 pm.
Did you ask the showroom people if the bike will be there on display for some more days?
After seeing red and blue in pictures, I was super excited to see blue in flesh but somehow red, to me, looks better. So, now eagerly wants to see yellow in flesh.
Any idea, if they also provide test rides?2000 Suzuki Fiero | 2004 Bullet Electra | 2004 RX135 | 2005 CBZ | 2009 Karizma | 2009 Punto 1.4 Petrol | 2011 Yamaha YZF-R15

Just confirmed from one of my friend who works in a bajaj showroom in kolkata that more than 50 bikes have arrived in their workshops and they take the bikes from there and take it to the warehouse... He said company officials are giving them some training... And he said very proudly that they abuse the bikes very badly and shift at the redline.. He was like "who cares...its not my bike..."... He also said that there is a survey going on wheather to introduce a white color....and bajaj may launch a white ns... The owner of the showroom has gone to pune at the bajaj headquarters few days back and so the room where the bikes are kept is locked and the bikes covered quite clevery.... So now they are not able to ride the bikes anymore... But he has promised me to take some snaps of the covered bikes if he can find the keys anyhow.... I'll post pics if he can get those...

Dude, this is the case everywhere be it Bajaj , Honda or any other company. For example, in case of the duke, the bikes are ridden some 20-30 kms from the warehouse (which is in Bhiwandi(Mumbai) perhaps, not sure) to the Seewoods svc, where a PDI is done and 'ok' stickers are stuck on the bikes. And from there ridden to their showroom in Vashi.Originally posted by Rahulbarik View PostJust confirmed from one of my friend who works in a bajaj showroom in kolkata that more than 50 bikes have arrived in their workshops and they take the bikes from there and take it to the warehouse... The bikes are abused by the 'trained'(the Showroom staff once mentioned this word to which I gave a smirk in reply) riders for sure. When I last visited the SVC, there were numerous bikes there waiting for their PDI's to be done. All of them were in pathetic condition, covered with mud, stickers torn. I was taken aback when I learnt that the bikes had not come for servicing, but were new bikes.
I feel that the companies should arrange for transportation of the bikes and the bikes should be delivered with zero on the odo.
On a second thought though, probably we get all our bikes properly run in by all these 'trained riders, motoman way and we should not go through te painful rigours of a soft run in for a full 1000kms or 2000 for the 200NS.
Now if that thing is good or bad, I know notThe hero always RIDES into the sunset!

Thats bad man. We the owners spend our hard-earned money for our beloved bikes. The "Trained riders" SHOULD NOT ripp apart the bike as they wish. I BAJAJ, HONDA etc, already have knowledge about this, they must implement strict measures to stop this.Originally posted by Doga View PostDude, this is the case everywhere be it Bajaj , Honda or any other company. Thanks for review.pardon me for my indianism...my A$$ is also itching to ask "Kitna deti hai"?Originally posted by chintan99 View PostHi folks,

Buying DecisionFIRST bike being made available for the customer.
Delivery ExperienceLooks : Absolute Killer its something that pleases everyone, the stance, this beauty sure has road presence and is an attention seeker whether running or in idle. Each one has his vision of looking and liking the bike for me its got to be the star shaped alloy rims which truly enhance the star out of it.
PULSAR 200 NS is like a hot gal you can take home who is simple enough to keep your parents happy and at the same time be a hot topic of discussion amongst friends and make them feel jealous.
Ride/HandlingAcceleration/Gearing : This is an absolute joy and a delight for the soul, it just pulls effortlessly and is so nimble that you wont feel the speed until you glance at the speedo, the clutch and gearing is smoother than ever and the gears slot neatly with no false neutrals, since I am switching over from a p150 which had one sided gearing, its taking me little time to adapt to the 1down 5up sequence a few more kms and I will be fine.As for acceleration I remember the good old days of the RX100 it was an untamed beast and always rearing to go whereas PULSAR 200 NS is more sophisticated but in an turbo charged avtaar of the Rx100, need to ride one to feel the magic. Just waiting for the run in period to get over in training the monster so that its true prowess can be unleashed by trying to keep the temptations under control.
Braking : Providing with petal disc brakes in the front and rear the company is surely concerned for the adequate safety of the consumers and it does have a lot of bite in stoping the monster, especially when we will be enjoying the rides and some idiot will jaywalk into our path without caring for any safety.
