why do you think that is so?Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Postfully faired bike will look bad without full sized exhaust..

I don't expect anyone to find the RS4125 looking bad, with that underslung exhaust. And for people who find the Panigale 1199 ugly, I don't think the exhaust is one of the big reasons.Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

those are litre class bikes and are very big from every angle .. they have the widest of tyres .. 200ns looks very slim from the rear .. now imagine it with full fairing .. what i mean to say is that a full sized exhaust will make the bike look wider from the rear ( this is very much needed in low capacity bikes ) .. ns is a street bike and hence it is ok to have a hidden exhaust .. ns will probably attract more attention for not having an exhaust..Originally posted by R-series View Postwhy do you think that is so?

if u imagine p220 with hidden exhaust then u might probably think that the bike is not proportionate from the rear..

200NS has 130sec rear tyres, where as 220F has 120Sec tyres. IMO in no way the rear part looks slim in proportion to the bike. I give here a pic of the rear.Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Post200ns looks very slim from the rear .. now imagine it with full fairing .. what i mean to say is that a full sized exhaust will make the bike look wider from the rear ( this is very much needed in low capacity bikes ) .. ns is a street bike and hence it is ok to have a hidden exhaust .. ns will probably attract more attention for not having an exhaust..

thanks a lot for the pics .. is the rear tyre hugger stiff enough ? because it has got support only on one side ..Originally posted by Shibadip View Post200NS has 130sec rear tyres, where as 220F has 120Sec tyres. i eagerly want to know whether the exhaust sound is louder than p220 ... is it as loud as duke ?
plz if possible do treat us with some pictures of the whole bike ... even i am going for red

@ rohan - Yes the hugger is stiff enough and it has got metal from inside which holds the hugger (i mean there is metal strip from inside)(will post pics tomorrow and put it for you). i have posted video on youtube and posted the link here also few days back. you can check the video and hear the exhaust. exhaust is not as loud as duke.
@consciyash - Congrats, which color did u buy /

My 200 NS
The 2012 bike which makes a louder noise than any other in the Indian two-wheeler scenario. Welcome to the review of the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS.
Bajaj Auto Ltd. made this beauty standout from the earlier gen Pulsars. It sure has the looks, the power, the handling.
The looks would be evident from pics posted, the power is still untested by me (run-in period + amatuer rider), the handling is so nibble, so precise. Dodging traffic and potholes is easy as eating a pie. The run-in period of 1000 Kms will be a hurdle for early testing its maniac capabalities.

**********
The Ride:
Sit on it and its fuel tank puts a smile on my face. The way the legs get wrapped around, makes known the power within.

******
Start it up and it awaits for your command. Flick into first, and off you go (would definitely win at the signal drag race). Second and third come soon and average gears would be 3 and 4 in city traffic conditions. I havent been into top gear as of yet, but 5th and 6th would be smoother than the already smooth 4th.

******
It handles on curve roads like a butter knife, even after the first rains, the ride gives confidence. Concrete roads tend to be slippery after the first downpours, but this one retains composition.

front tyre

rear tyre

rear tyre 2

******
The seats are comfortable for rides, the back seat position is high, not as much as the new Yamaha's R15, but high enough. I rode pillion while my brother (5.8 ft) drove. Gets a little scary because of the front view. Ideal combination for the rider and pillion would be 4 inches of difference. 6ft rider, 5.8 pillion (my girl agrees!)

I can't think much to write now, barely 40 kms odo. More details after I rake in more miles.
Regards.
