    U too having Squeaking sound??
I am Having a Slight One, But That too at verylow speed, At abt 1-5 kmph, while starting off. After that sound is Not heard. Also when the bike is pushed in neutral, the sound is not heard!!!
I don't have a squeeking sound but a very faint buzzing sound from the front disc when I apply it. Its like the sound of a mobile vibrating (couldn't come up with a better example). Its only there when I apply the brake and it isn't irritating either. But no harm in checking!

And whats with the kich kich noise from your engine?

      Is this form FB update????
Actually last night did some Ripping (as some would term it), of Destiny...
But at One Moment rather than Upshifting, I accidentally Downshifted.. And I was literally at Higher before the accidental Down-shifting.. So that took the RPM to much higher level..
Now last two days, I was Running LID-Less (now please don't bash me up guys). So that's why may be very particular about the engine noise, which cant be heard with the Lid on..But if I hear the engine note going very close to it, then there is a light kich kich noise doing along with the engine beats..
I'm still unaware of how a tappet noise sounds..ANd the Last night's accidental downshifting is making me worried.

Might be meeting Barik today evening to let him hear the Sound and Suggest..

        Not from fb...you messaged me!
Anyways...I don't think that just one occassion of a wrong shift can cause the engine to make that weird noise. Rahul might be able tell better.

teflon is utter bull$hit. It's just like applying some oil and giving the bike a temporary shine.Plz don't waste money.U can buy a whole bottle of wax polish with that money.

Oh, Ya.. The msg was From Dussera's ride experience.
Rahul too assured me last Night that One occasion of wrong shift won't cause any problem .

Just went to garage now(which is quite a distance from my home), as I left the Bike key on it last night.
So, I Started the bike, and the Noise did sound like a sewing Machine kind of, as was suggested by Barik last night as tappet noise.

I was offered Teflon polish for 850/- which will include applying it thrice in one yr.
While I recently Bought a Formula1 wax for abt 350/- and I really Impressed by it' results. Also I am quite sure that the Can will last more than 3 yrs, as very liilt Qty is required to buff up the area.
In fact the label tell that it has water beading properties of upto 12 months. Though I am unsure abt the 12 months thing, but it will surely last for at least 2 months..

It was a hard choice between the Duke200 and NS but finally I opted for the 200NS. What helped and saved additional 50k (to buy the Duke) was the fact that the Sai Service guys dont have any KTM on offer for a Test ride. ORP 98.32K. Also negotiated for a free helmet, helmet lock and teflon coating. Tuesday evening hopefully should get the allotted bike for preliminary checks before it goes for RTO registration.
yes dont get a teflon...get a centre stand for free instead and a garrage cover

I changed once and the new one worked well for 1 day and this one too is bent now... Its a bloody manufacturing defect... A lot of ns in my svc is getting it changed... Its BENT...weak linkage... Blast the svc and mail bajaj... As someone said the bike gets very unsettled in crosswinds and if u hit a bad patch of road and shakes after 120...highspeed stability is poor... Someone said about clutch adjustment...well my clutch has a hell lot of freeplay..more than half...still butter smooth shifting...you just need to find the right adjustment... Me too had the same problem as urs but now its solved...and adjust the height of the clutch lever and push it upwards...it will feel very odd at first but u'll get used to it in a day...it wont hurt your fingers then...i did the same and clutch feels very light....
how did you manage to get the second plate bent again? did u hit the bike somewhere or someone hit the discs?
is it just a co incidence that you got 2 faulty plates or are all the manufactured p200ns plates really very weak that they get bent?

how many other memebrs have tried the method of using a small tipped pen or sumthing to check the bent disc?

my bike is just 50km old right now so its too early to say bt my disc makes no noise at all...

its a naked bike.....it wont be so stable at such high speeds

but in the xbhp review they have ridden the NS extensively and ripped it often and didnt find any such stability issues

whats the price for both? My bike goes through a lot of abuse and gets very dirty and muddy.... @myth:That buzzing from front disc is normal bro...nothing to worry....it will happen when you press the brake... It happens on few bikes of every manufacturer... And my fairing dont make a buzzing noise, rather make a dhak dhak noise... My tank pad is from the 220/180/135... Looks like oem and looks sober...costed 86 bucks... @shibadip: nothing to worry...as i said the sound will come no matter what you do once you rip... It wont damage the engine by anyway but will rather make it smoother and rev happy but the sound does annoys me when the engine become quite hot... Mis-shifts wont do any harm... I sometimes miss my shifts and go straight and bang the rev limiter badly... I used to bang my earlier bike so badly you wont believe me. Abusing the banging the engine wont hurt the engine as long it is done in a correct way...and always avoid sudden full throttle to accelerate, rather downshift and use part throttle... Btw i have an oil change due now....just need the oil filter

                      • I have a yellow NS, what do ya guys think is the best color for LED pilots? I am inclining towards white, How to get the brightest one?
Also can we fit some leds in the visor eye gap area(above headlights), it might looks cool won't it?

And some suggestions for Tanks pads, which one to get?

                              Hey buddy,

I know what you thinking but you need to calm down, 200NS is an awesome machine trust me on this. But you got to understand that its a new product in the market and its proving very well till now. The problems mentioned in this thread were once faced by R15's when it was launched. Over the years it has improved but not completely too, after all its a machine. So, dont worry now, and go for a quick ride and see how beautiful your NS is... And yes, I'm happy that you members are sorting out the problems, before the baby knows how to run, it will fall when trying.
