Dont know about the issue but the quoted part is absolutely true..beyond 7k rpm it feels as if u are riding a mini rocket.... the roar and the way it picks up speed makes u go

This wednesday I ll be getting my ride so I cannot comment on the bike that much. But still just because the real power of NS lies after 7k RPM that doesn't mean that during 2-3k RPM it should feel like that(As reported by many xbhp riders).
did you ever face this problem dude?

It does. Chain lube comes @510 and cleaner @480.

You can try TVS/OKS chain lube, many recommend that. These are cheaper than Motul and as good, thats what I read. have to try though. Gonna buy OKS or tvs whichever i get first.

Also if you want to maintain a good finish you need to go for better brands which are pretty expensive initially but considering their durability they will be lighter on the pocket in the long run.

For a good durable finish you should ideally go for a wax product like Collinite 845, Meguairs NXT 2.0, Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell, Formulae 1 etc. These products have good dust repelling and water beading properties. Once applied these products can provide at least 45 days protection (though companies claim protection of anywhere between 6-12 months) and you can do away with simply wiping with a Micro-Fibre cloth.

For minor scratches you can use a rubbing compound like the Motomax 2k rubbing compound.
+1. Collinite 845, is the best product AFAIK.

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...

                • No offence to anyone but I certainly feel half of the problems reported by the riders may be because of Rider's style of riding. Let's see, I have ridden FZ a lot so I guess I will be able to make fare enough comments on the bike.

                    • 2-3 days after switching to Motul 5100 15W50, the engine feels smooth again. But still not up to the level of first 500 kms. In higher rpms we can really notice the improvement. My ODO is at 1700+, I am going to switch to 7100 fully synthetic in 2nd service. 300V is too costly but if it can give the butter smoothness I wont mind spending for it

We should use fully synthetic only after 5k right?

Yes. 0-2000 mineral oil, 2000-5000 semi synthetic, after that fully synthetic. This would be nice but I am not sure about if any problems like oil leakage etc in using fs oil in 200 NS. I have heard that earlier pulsars had problems with fs oils.

Well previous pulsars had problems of False Neutral, poor braking, Horrible handling, engine giving up after 20k
Anyways old pulsars apart , I would certainly suggest you to ask other riders for Fully synthetic

                                not really.

using fs will not lead to leakage.try only after 6-7k km.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                                #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.
