Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Do you mean this could also be bi-xenon?. The light only gets the slightest deflection.Originally posted by krixna View PostShould be a bi-xenon in which the bulb moves forward and backward for low and high beam (small magnetic push-pull assembly inside the unit)
Edit: another system moves a small metal shield in front of the bulb for low beam to deflect the light downwards

Also do you have any idea about how to overcome the wind turbulence at high speeds? like fixing shields on the visor, etc stuffs like that. The workshop guys are asking for the spare (like from some compatible bikes) and they said they would try the best to fit it. Is AS200 spare available?, if so how and where to get one?.

I too hope that way, 18W for flashing. Because it really doesn't serve the purpose of a high beam (I'm comparing the results with stock).Originally posted by krixna View PostAlso, jbm_guys says 8/18W ....is the 18W a seperate halogen for flashing purpose?

What these led headlights do is imitate a filament blub by having one led for low and one for high beam
Jbm_guy is atleast having a pencil beam throw.. sort of .. Coz of the lens.. Normal led headlight wont make any throw .. Plus our reflector are designed to spread halogen light not led or hid ..
Check morimoto or aes projector to understand proper throw of these lens you'll yourself will notice the difference in throw ..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
The best thing to do is buy acrylic or pvc sheet (both are flexible), cut it to the shape and size you want. Paint it matt black or something of your choice (for pvc). Use at least 4 sturdy fixing points for the windshield. While you get transparent acrylic, you wont get see-through pvc that easily, hence the need for painting. Also, you cant make big pvc screens (you want to see the road, right?Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostDo you mean this could also be bi-xenon?. The light only gets the slightest deflection.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello everyone, it has been a very long time since I have posted something here.
After 1 year of riding the NS, I am thinking of upgrading the headlamp brightness, i.e. go for a higher wattage bulb. So, I wanted to know is anybody here using a 100/90W headlamp?
Does it effect the battery?

Under 3k rpm, alternator output is less than 100W, so it will draw some current from the battery under 3k rpm. Above that, alternator supplies both headlamp and charges battery too. Check this outOriginally posted by shrey1992 View PostHello everyone, it has been a very long time since I have posted something here.

Checking battery charging with the 100W bulb ON. Note that chrging is OK at 3000rpm, but goes down if rpm comes down to 1500.

Hi Guys,Originally posted by shrey1992 View PostHello everyone, it has been a very long time since I have posted something here.

I have the very same query. 3 months back I have fitted a projector light setup (not HID
) from a local workshop in Mysore. Yesterday, the bulb stopped working. I am thinking of upgrading the bulb to 100/90 since I go for frequent night riding. My doubts are:
1. Does a 100/90 w bulb a direct fit for the projector set up that I am currently having?
2. Which bulb has better illumination and life in 100/90 segment? I have read from this forum that Philips Xtreme Vision and Osram Nightbreaker are good. My budget is up to 1.5K.
Please shed some light on this
Thanks in Advance
