You are a freak(in good way though) you better get the duke or rc200. It will suit your needs and future mods.

To say open hearted, you just don't ride a pulsar.(No Offense) If you want to keep it yourself after upgrade, then no problem. If it has to be sold, better switch to stock cosmetics.

Ofcourse Duke200, no second thought....if money is not a concern, it's simply the best. I wouldn't recommend 200NS unless the seat comfort and a little longer rides are a must..!!! In any day a duke200 is always better than 200ns or R15 and other stuffs....

Mind you....!!! This comes from a 200NS owner
200NS is a really a good and a charming one, but duke is greaaaat...!!!

Looking at your way of things, Duke is best. If you buy NS, you will spend money on it to make it look like a Duke. And you won't get the performance, only the looks. So, Duke is cheaper from your aspect

              Hey friends.. Need some help,

Few days back, coolant of my 200NS was changed completely at SVC during service, as I trust the mechanic at SVC and he became a good friend of mine since last three visits, I left the bike for the purpose.

Yesterday when I rode my bike for a ride about 100kms on highway, there wasn't any problem, but as soon as I entered in city traffic, the radiator fan started humming very frequently and engine feels much hot with this new coolant. I can feel the heat on legs. It is raining here since 2 days so atmosphere is not so hot as summer. Previously it was running cool in same situation in Summer. Now I doubt the quality of coolant Bajaj provide at SVC. I think I have to get a bottle of coolant from outside shop and hand it over to the mechanic for replacement. Which one should I go for? How many liters should I buy? Any suggestions friends? Bike is 25000 kms and 2 years old. Running on Motul 7100.

              Thank you

Don't think any muck will be sprayed under the seat.

Hope its not heavier than the stock one.

This is where most people get it wrong. If the fan turns on more with the new coolant, it means the coolant is heating up faster. Coolant heats up by removing heat from the engine. Means, the new coolant mixture is removing heat more efficiently than your previous mixture. The heat on your legs is the wind coming through the radiator. Will be more when fan is on. Hope the point is clear. Cheers

Well....it is heavier from the stock one because it made from metal
kawasaki sell the original from bajaj, but it always out of stock when I go there to buy one

from what i have read on coolants, it is Just Water+Anti freeze (which doesnt let water freeze at below zero temp in winters) rest tech-jargons feel like a hogwash and marketing gimmicks. if your bike is heating up more frequently then first point to check should be the engine oil and lean mixture. remove one of spark plugs and check the tip color. Do remember Service centre people mess up lot of times, so keep a open mind. on my bike's first service chain was overtightened and bike used to vibrate a lot. also do check radiator fins for blockage as that can also make fan to kick in earlier.

I have a black pulsar 200ns. Completed 10000km this month. I have just changed the cone set because it was damaged. But now whenever I apply front brake and release it the handle of my bike gets very heavy as like it has stuck and it is difficult to turn handle towards Left and then when I turn handle towards left and right it becomes free again and handle becomes normal. Please help in this matter

Engine Oil and all 3 Spark Plugs changed along with coolant during last service. Will check the tip color tomorrow morning. I am using Motul 7100 since last 4 services. Radiator fins are 99% good. Lean-Rich mixture is not changed as I told the mechanic strictly not to mess with carb settings. It is factory set stock till now. Thanks bro.

Yes bro you are right, I am overthinking about this all unnecessarily. Thanks.

But can you guys tell me how often your bike feels heated up in stop and go traffic and how often the fan is running? When I parked my bike at a shop and returned after 10 mins, I felt the heat on perimeter frame as well as little upto front seat and right handlebar. Never happened before like this. Thus I am worried a little bit. I hope this is normal behaviour with the bike. Because with previous old coolant I hardly felt that kind of heat once in a month if I am stucked badly in traffic and radiator fan came into action at that time only. As I live in coastal area near sea and atmosphere here is not much hot.

Hot air goes up. When on side stand, the right side frame and handlebar can become warm because of the rising hot air from the engine and radiator. Maybe you didnt notice before. It is normal, especially when you park the bike with the engine really heated up.

The cone is the culprit again. Wrong adjustment (tightening), maybe no grease too. Show some good mechanic or you will end up damaging this one too
