Not exactly but do the same job. They are used to 'contain' oil/pressure.

Changed the oil. But this foam like layer is appearing after riding for 5-10 minutes. Any idea about this?

And also got my bike washed and just now realized that my brakes are not working properly. I have to press them really hard to stop my bike.

Did you get your valves (tappets) set recently? Oil may be coming from a leaky head cover gasket and dripping down to the plug. There is no way oil can come out of a spark plug's mounting hole

There is a metal washer on the plug which forms a tight seal btw plug and engine body when you tighten. Washer may be damaged. Try another plug.

I will be using motul 3100 20w50 oil. And my bike has completed 5000km.

Shall I change the oil filter as well? How much would it cost?
hi, How is the oil holding up? can you please do a little review as i have to get rid of my existing Engine oil. is it better than DTSi oil from Bajaj

To tell you frankly, I rode my bike for just 15 km after changing the oil.

But yeah, there used to be a tak sound on giving sudden race, which is not there now. I cleaned and lubricated my chain too. Overall I felt the ride to be a bit smoother, may be I will be able to give a better picture after I ride itfora couple of days.

It's got a ported head from Race Concepts, UNI pod filter, 120 size pilot jet, slight short gearing and LOADS of weight reduction. Now after all transmission losses, these are the dyno figures we found AT THE REAR WHEEL and NOT AT THE CRANK.
Stock Pulsar 200 NS: 16.8 Bhp
Stock Duke 200: 17.5 Bhp
Stock CBR 250R: 18.7 Bhp

And then my NS:

Yup, 19.4 Bhp at the rear wheel, which is more than a stock CBR250R. Also note that the max power is made between 10200 and 10400 RPM (stock makes max power at 9500 RPM), which means this bike wont feel underpowered above 135 km/h. It will happily hit 160 km/h (speedo indicated) which is approximately 144 km/h in real world (stock NS is claimed to make 138 km/h in real world figures). What's more, my NS is 43000 kms old now, and 30000 kms old on the mods. Big thanks to Race Concepts.
Check a 200 Duke and then your 200NS back to back on the same dyno and if possible videotape it please. I'm so interested in it.
I am back!
