Bike is doing very smooth if you maintain 60kmph in 6th gear. but never crossed rpm 4700. maintained always in 4400-4600

    For you:
maintain speed 50-55, you can reach even 60 it doesnt matter but RPM should be between 4000 - 4600.
stop every one hour and give break for 5 to 10 min
    Thank you mate
    I'll maintain b/w 4-4.5K rpm.
    ride or die

        Duke 200 is a bike meant for hooligan's !
        Both are identical almost mechanically
But power delivery and characteristics are different ..

Thanks a ton man for your valuable comment. I was just thinking that will it be easy for cutting through the traffic on Pulsar 200NS. Is it nimble enough??

          Yes it is ..
If coming from normal commuter bike you'll find seating position little odd but you'll get used to it !

Low range is adequate enough if you keep it in correct gear ..mid range is punchy ..
The real fun lies 7-9k rpm
Bikes cruise's easily between 3.5-4.5k rpm also its kinda of economy zone to extract max mileage
For run-in procedure pls search the thread ..

Hi. Close to 18000 kms on my NS in 15 months. Never had any major issues but these days I am having a few problems.

The gears keep getting stuck. (I'm using Motul 7100 20w50 since the last 8k kms. Changed it about 2k kms ago.)
The chain is loose at some points but is tight as hell at other points. Feels like I'm running on an oval rear sprocket or something. It keeps making creaky noises.

I feel really scared while applying the front brakes because the front feels very wobbly. Have changed the fork oil and ball racers but it didn't help. What else might cause this problem?

My AFR has gone to shit. Can someone point me in the direction of a video or something on how to adjust the afr on our NS? I think I should also replace the brake oil. A link/video on that would be helpful as well.

Btw, I'm using Ceat Zoom XL for the rear, and the top speed has gone up. I used to get to 147, now I can reach 151.

It is a very good tyre. Till now I've only been able to see the dry grip. Will know about the wet grip in monsoon. It is a very round profile tyre so it doesn't affect the mileage even though it's 140/70-17 since the surface area is more or less the same.

It costed me Rs 3050 with a lifetime warranty. Ceat says that if your tyre gets damaged due to someone running a blade on it or if it gets torn from the side walls or something, then they will replace the tyre after calculating how much tread is remaining.

And 151's breakup is something like this..

                      1st gear - 52
                      2nd gear - 71
                      3rd gear - 93
                      4th gear - 116
                      5th gear - 137
                      6th gear - 151

Duke chain is better than ours? I'm 11k km on odo and my mechanic says its time to change it. Earlier I didn't lube and clean it properly maybe that's why my chain and sprocket gave up early.
