There is a possibility that an engine running continuously with a lean mixture could melt a piston/blow a hole in it. With such heat the oil is also bound to get more hot and lose its viscosity, thus making the engine harsh.

Therefore get the right amount of air fuel mixture then the engine oil will operate as its supposed to. Why do you think we have electronics (fuel injection) with sensors in most automobiles handling the AFR

The motul lubricants are good. Don't see why they can cause roughness if it was only an oil change. As per my understanding its the AFR gone bad or the Motul oil used was spurious.

Hey i recently changed my engine oil from Motul 15W50 semi synthetic to 20W50 Fully synthetic.

I had a liter of 20W50; it says in the manual, the engine needs to be filled with 1.2 ltr oil. However my mechanic says just 1.1 ltr is enough and additional oil would heat up the engine. Is there any science behind his thought? Also, the extra 100ml was added with my 15W50 left over from my previous purchase. Will there be any issue with the mix?

I also have another question,my bike(200ns) is switching off randomly.Requires 2 self start attemps, need to accelerate during start.
The engine stops with an air pulling sound(whoop)... bajaj needs me to keep the bike for 1 day.Can i fix it myself?

    Please advice
I would advice to adjust the idling. Switch on the bike and check for the RPM at idle; if its less than 1100, increase the idling. This should work!

              Hi guys,

yesterday I filled enough air pressure to front tyre say 25psi and back to 28 psi at a gas station (Previous values were 21/23 psi front/back). The ride was so rough enough to make my bones feel the road, that's different story... But after ~25kms of ride and 3 hrs of break (Movie ), the bike started wobbling toward front, found out that the entire air (inflated ~4 hrs back then) was out.... Thought of puncture, but the mechanic nearby checked and assured that there wasnt any puncture, but said sometimes it'd happen when you inflate at gas station because the inner spring might not close properly and he did inflate again ...... Post that, I didnt have any problem....

What's this, has anybody experienced?.... Sounds crazy... How to make sure not to let this happen?. I found the caps have been fasten properly.... but still how?...

                  hi guys !

i went to book new p200ns ( already having old p200 for 6 years ) and also asked about p200 ss they said surely it is getting launched on this april & bookings will be open soon...
now i m totally confused i like p200 ns black very much but it is missing ABS and FI .p200ss full fairing i m not impresed and i feel it wil not suit me since i am 6.2 tall, but it has ABS and FI .
they major concern is they are going to launch 160ns or 150 ns this rumor is going on for while ..its already 3 years since 200ns is launch and now with 160 ns it feel like 3rd genertion (which happend in 2nd generation also) pulsars will all look like a same bike design expect engine cc differnace .

P.S = i need only ur guidence for p200 no other bikes

Well I'd say if you want it that much, go for it. Don't buy a fully faired bike if you're not comfortable with it.

Let me tell you pros and cons in my opinion.

                      Pros of ss-
FI- big thing. Half of problems of ns over here are related to carburator.
                      Abs- big plus.
                      Better on highways.
                      New exclusive looks.

                      Cons-
You don't want fairing. Biggest thing in consideration.
Budget- might have to shell out 40k extra.
Ns will be better handler in cities.

I'll say go for ns especially if you prefer naked bikes over faired ones.

I thought 200 ss would be nearly 125 k to 130k..with extra we can go for duke 200...

Moreover i also don't like fairings

I bought my 200ns in 2012. I had taken my bike post 100 before the first servicing also. It doesn't matter much unless you are not revving your engine too much. Keep around 5-6rpm at all the gears as that rpm range will also give you better mileage.

I think the 200AS is your best bet here!
Has a half fairing and FI ! might not have ABS though. and will be just around 5k costlier than the NS

I would advice to adjust the idling. Switch on the bike and check for the RPM at idle; if its less than 1100, increase the idling. This should work!
In idle the RPM gauge points above 1.In a day the bikes becomes off atleast 4 times.

Try keeping your air pressure as 25 in the front tyre and 30 in the rear. I have a MRF REVZ C on my NS. This tyre pressure is comfortable for me.
