Performance wise, 200ns is better. Only point in which rtr180 scores over 200ns is abs

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Apache is abs failure
Ns is far better in all aspects including build quality
Apache only thing we can consider is the silencer sound which gives the racing effect that's all
Apache can't even be compared to 200ns

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
AFAIK, abs requires ecu to monitor its functioning. Since the 200ns doesn't have an ecu, it wouldn't be possible to fit one. If the abs module is independent, then it can be fitted on the ns.Originally posted by vishanth View PostGuys, can we be able to fit the ABS that is gonna be available in 200SS to our model 200NS???

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey i recently changed my engine oil from Motul 15W50 semi synthetic to 20W50 Fully synthetic.
I had a liter of 20W50; it says in the manual, the engine needs to be filled with 1.2 ltr oil. However my mechanic says just 1.1 ltr is enough and additional oil would heat up the engine. Is there any science behind his thought? Also, the extra 100ml was added with my 15W50 left over from my previous purchase. Will there be any issue with the mix?

It again depends. Can go as low as 4000 if your on half clutch or without. Did you try adjusting the idling?Originally posted by cooler121 View PostBeen riding for 1+ years on ns and did not see this issue. What should be the normal RPM in the 6TH
gear. Are there any other issues that may cause this.Plus my chain socket is damaged..bajaj service person told that i need to replace it.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I can relate to this. I had the same dilemma 4-5 months back. I started with the FZ v2 but given the price and the power i didn't go for it.Originally posted by sandeepchinnala View PostPlease suggest me.. I am going to purchase a bike tomorrow and i am interested in APACHE RTR 180 ABS and PULSAR 200 NS, which is the better option?
so finally it was down to ABS and NS .
Had booked the ABS Model but i didn't receive it for close to 2 months, so in that time was when i thought I'd rather go for the NS.
The NS is the better bike, superb engine, mono suspension and not many vibrations too. Looks good (IMO).
But I went for the ABS simply because it had ABS. I felt it was very important for me. That feeling of security i get when i drive, i appreciate that.
Been 4 months now, and I do think what if i had got the NS instead. but when i ride, i ride with security. and its not at all a bad bike to get.
So Pros and Cons -
Pros of NS -
1) KTM (ish) engine, 3 sparks, massive massive power
2) Mono suspension
3) fat rubbers if you are into those
Cons -
1) No ABS
2) might be ubiquitous once the 150ns is released
Pros of Apache -
1) ABS!! safety, huge safety
2) nice sounding bike, looks kick ass with the DRL's
3) roaring engine
Cons -
1) VIBRATIONS ! huge drawback
2) smaller tyres
No other cons for me from the bike#Shadowfax Apache RTR 180 ABS - 2014 - 2019
#NightWing Yamaha R3 - 2019 - Current

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello guys, Im NS owner from Indonesia, i wanna ask you several questions..
A few days ago my battery icon on my NS is on, i dont know why, i dont used any other accecories on my bike. But if battery ican is on, i just put my bike to off and then on again and i started my NS and that battery icon is dissapear.
But that icon is appear again. And i do like i said before to make that icon dissapear.
after that...
i just turn on my ingnition from off to on, but my speed LCD is not started, just like the when motorcycle is off.
and when i want to started my motorcycle, my motorcycle is not started, just i heard a sound like bzzzz bzzzzzzz from my bike.
So i try the classic ways, i push my motorcycle and i turn my gears to second gear and wuuusss, finally my NS is started.
I found a unusual case, when i put my gear from neutral gear, my lcd is on and my speed is appear 188, and my fuel indicator is fuel, and my clock is 12:59.
after that my mechanic friend is check my NS, and he said that battery onb my NS is not have enough power, you must charged it.
So i charged my battery, and my LCD is working and my rpm meter is working too, and easy to started my NS.
just a few seconds i ride my NS and the same case is happen to me. The Battery Indicator is on again..
I dont know what happen to my NS
Maybe you guys have a information or idea for me and my NS ?
Thanks, and keep brotherhood from Indonesia
