Guys my front tyre is due for replacement. I am thinking of getting the front tyre of the duke which is 110/60. Will it cause any serious problems? Also planning to replace the rear tyre with the 150/60 revz c. What say guys.? Currently using the stock tyre up front for the last 25k kms and revz s at the rear for the last 14k kms.

      I have following issues now.

1.Bike vibrates like hell once i cross 4000 rpm.
2.just turn the choke on, bike goes off.
3.Tappet noice increased, once you drive for 3 or 4 kilomter and keep the bike in idle, tappet sound is abnormal.
4.Engine oil level is touching the minimum level indicator.

if i goto kasturba nagar khivraj, what all they will charge?and how much it will be just to check vibration/choke issues and tappet fix.

can i mention that last week only i did service in banswadi khivraj, and problems raising like this?

I have paid amount for teflon coat when i bought my bike. since their buffing machine was repair, they didnt do coating when i went for service.

Anyway i have to go for this teflon coating. should visit kasturba nagar service or shall i go visit banswadi and ask them to rectify the issues?
      Never go to banaswadi,
If coating was not done why did u pay for it.

I had exact first 3 problems of yours, all got rectified and yes they did not charge me a penny, it was done under warranty repair.I have zero vibration now.
yes mention all that plus what they did to ur Saree guard as well.
I can give u the managers number if u want.
      They were very helpful there.

it was like, pay 700 and get 2 times teflon coat. 1st was done when i bought my bike. 2nd time is pending. I asked them already. It can be done in any khivraj service center.
Please PM me manger's name and mobile number.

I have few questions for you
1.you had tappet noice and they corrected it?
2.have you completed your break in period? whats the max speed you achieved and what speed you usually do?
3.My friend was riding my bike and he told if you leave the handle its going to right side(one side biased) i didnt notice such. because i didnt have time to notice this and all. i enjoy the power of the engine to the most and i often stare at my bike from all angles you faced this issue or heard anything like this?

        * you only guided me to get bike with MRF tyres and now you only guiding me to better service center thank you so much

As for VFM bike 200 NS,new engine are refined, less vibeless, update on tyres and with motul 7100 poured in,you don't want to be a commuter with the extra smoothness of the engine (almost like a japanese bike),vibeless and smooth top end.

Ohh that 2nd coating, why getting it done so early, that coating lasts 3 months once done.
            Coming to the answers.
            1. Yes it was there and they corrected it.
2.I am at 3k odo. Completed break in long ago.
I have gone upto 110kmph, didn't try higher as wind resistance was too much, I do around 70 to 80 usually
3.mine runs straight, check tyres pressure or ask service centre to check.I have heard of this issue from other ppl in the forum.
The power of the engine is very smooth now, earlier it was a bit jerky.

Haha..not an issue,we all are here to help each other only.

I had chance to ride my friend's new gixxer for some KM. he just bought bike 2 months before.
I am really saying.. brakes on the gixxer is absolutely waste. even though it works fine, it doesnt bring you the braking confidence and there is less or no bite feel at all(still its better bike than fz in terms of engine power)

NS is superb handler than any bike in the market including dukes, fzs and whatever(it lacks behind in only two departments that is turning radius and heaviness in handlebar) but after 1 week of owning the bike, you will get used to it.

                It handles a lot better.
My friend who rides NS is really impressed with Gixxer's handling like how effortless it is to maneuver in traffic. Once he was riding my Gixxer at 80kmph and entered the corner and the immediate thing he said to me - It went through the corner just like that..Its not the case with my NS, I have to put some effort.

PS: It is not appropriate to have this conversation in "Ownership Thread". If moderators can move these threads to appropriate section it would be great.

Just for argument's sake, you are absolutely wrong about everything. Gixxer's brake has tremendous feel.. and it handles better than the NS.. just because NS has a perimeter frame doesn't guarantee best handling.. and so does FZ..it handles better than NS as well..

Haven't ridden the Gixxer.. won't comment.

But the NS is way better, sharper and surer than the FZ-16/S at High Speeds.. including braking (also under Panic Braking), the NS stays composed.

                        Hi friend

my friend owning gixxer itself told me that my NS brakes are really good and gixxer's brakes are not good as NS/FZs/.Even i feel my pulsar 150(which i bought exactly a year ago)having better bite feel than gixxer( i am purely talking about front brakes because 90 percent i will use my front brakes only).and its completly my opinion.because i driven gixxer only 4-5 kilometers in traffic + some 2 km in free road.

even online bike reviewers like choosemybike, powertordier mentioning the same.they comparing gixxer with fz and they say gixxer is over all better bike because of engine power, looks and round profile tyres than fz. but they clearly mention that gixxer's breaks are not really good.
i hope i am not arguing here just for reference take NS and gixxer and test their brakes
Its not to hurt anyone owning gixxer..just sharing thoughts.

i didnt say it got poor handling, compare to ns flickibility, it got less. Just done 1000km tour and i rode my friend gixxer for 235km and i made this conclusion. yeah gixxer is vibeless and comfortable than NS in every way but the rear foot rest look awkward and just look at those switch on the handle bar. every bike has its own turn off.
