Sam happens to me bro ...i have take my discover 135 upto 105kmph and it is very comfortable as compares to pulsar 200ns.i think this is due to small windshield of the bike and the hight of the seat which is high as compared to my discover....

In my discover i felt attached to the ground and with my ns i felt i am travelling in the air.

Are you running on stock tyres? If yes, then on Euroslips, you're bound to feel like you're on air. Discover 135 comes with a Zapper C as far as I know, which is a wonderful tyre.

I can cruise around 110-120 often and I feel very little wind blast. Probably depends on your seating position also. If you crouch a little bit, the air is dispersed towards the group, so you feel less wind resistance.

        +1 , agreed

Edit - Done 140 on RTR 180, even that time air blast was not so high just because of seating posture. <NS in run-in period, eagerly waiting for it to be over >

When can we switch to motul? and to which one (7100,5100,etc idk much) ? or any other better than bajaj's stock oil ?

Here in Gurgaon, SVC Guys and Krishna Bajaj Manager said to limit speed upto 60-65 for 700-800 kms only then you can open throttle ? is it so?

            Hi friends,

All problems sorted out after visiting khivraj, kasturba road.
They informed me that they had never seen such spoilt afr ratio and tuning.
They corrected everything and replaced the screw on the carburetor,it had some issue.

When tested by them they informed me they got 60kmpl mileage when ridden below 50kmph.
I was shocked, so I carried a litre of petrol, as it got into reserve I made sure no more petrol is there above reserve, I poured in the litre,
I have ridden 48km after that and still there is some juice left...astonishing amazed I am,it runs perfect now...butter smooth..have never felt it soo smooth before.

                Hello guys,

I think this is the right place to ask this query. My cousin has planned to buy a bike for relaxed ride and smooth engine with amazing stability in straight as well as corners. how are the new MRF tyres? How is the engine refinement? is it vibe free?

Also I observed that this bike is good for long rides without any pain and for quick city runs too.

Please help as this will help in deciding between gixxer, cbr150r and pulsar200ns. Pulsar has better power!

                Thanks.

You can get better inputs in What Bike section, as this thread is of NS Owners so you'll get one sided polls only.

                  BTW go for NS

Yes I have started a thread there. But I thought there will be genuine replies here. So please don't tease here :P

the Indian scene is exploding. If he can wait 2-3 months he will be spoilt for choice.
RS 200 (200 SS earlier), Gixxer SF (faired gixxer that looks like a mini Busa), HX 250r (hopefully) and definitely some new version of Apache (BMW inputs).
at the moment, i would say go for Gixxer SF. best for a first time biker who wants to ride hard to learn, looks good too.

Gixxer cornering ability is less than NS,i find it lazy in terms of that and finishing is not even good even comparing to NS. As for CBR 150R not a value for money. If you buy CBR 150R you'll regret it later cuz of upcoming update on new bikes. As for VFM bike 200 NS,new engine are refined, less vibeless, update on tyres and with motul 7100 poured in,you don't want to be a commuter with the extra smoothness of the engine (almost like a japanese bike),vibeless and smooth top end.

                                Hi Nikz,

                                I have following issues now.

1.Bike vibrates like hell once i cross 4000 rpm.
2.just turn the choke on, bike goes off.
3.Tappet noice increased, once you drive for 3 or 4 kilomter and keep the bike in idle, tappet sound is abnormal.
4.Engine oil level is touching the minimum level indicator.

if i goto kasturba nagar khivraj, what all they will charge?and how much it will be just to check vibration/choke issues and tappet fix.

can i mention that last week only i did service in banswadi khivraj, and problems raising like this?

I have paid amount for teflon coat when i bought my bike. since their buffing machine was repair, they didnt do coating when i went for service.

Anyway i have to go for this teflon coating. should visit kasturba nagar service or shall i go visit banswadi and ask them to rectify the issues?
