Has anyone bought the Abs version recently? What's the OTR price? And does it have FI as well?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I recently took a test ride of the NS200 ABS. It doesn't have FI, only change is the single-channel ABS for the front wheel with the bigger 300mm disc. The ABS works really well and inspires lot of confidence while braking hard. I bought the N200 three months backOriginally posted by kc_1602 View PostHas anyone bought the Abs version recently? If the ABS directly fits, I will install on my NS.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello NS'ites!
I recently found out that my rear tyre Hugger rod was rusted and cracked near the bolt(front) attached to swingarm. Unfortunately I discovered that when I was Touring to DevarayanaDurga in Bangalore.
For the time being I had to drive back with broken rod until I found a mechanic on the way. My toolkit doesn't have a Allen key tool.
I asked the mechanic to tighten the screws so that it hold up for another 50 km that were left to return home. Once I came back I removed the entire assembly at the back myself.
Since then there is a lot of mud/water flying up from the wheel to the rear seat and my backpack all the way upto my helmet.
I want to know if there is any option other than purchasing new tyre Hugger assembly.
I don't mind having a little dirt on my bike but having to clean my backpack and helmet every now and then is tiresome.
If there's no other option apart from stock tyre Hugger, then how much will it cost?

Also I want to buy a set of Allen keys. Which brand should I get?
I do not have much knowledge in this field, I have quite a few tools at home and I do some work myself. But not all tools are of good quality. I want to build up a nice set with good quality tools.

You can get the stock tyre hugger from Bajaj service centre.Originally posted by vinitbuch View PostHello NS'ites!

Saw but didn't like the bike overall, feels bulk and added weight on the bikeOriginally posted by d_lonerider View PostDid anyone check this video??
Best modifications on ns 200 I saw till date.. How do they increase suspension travel? How much it cost? And is it good to modify suspension from stock?
I love thebike in its stock condition, although everything done in the video seems only weight added on to the bike

Every machine faces problems. None is trouble free.Originally posted by somu1795 View PostHi all,
I'm actually crazy about this bike since long,
I want to buy this bike, but I've seen lot of people are facing constant problems, like some tappet issues, radiator fan problems, electrical failures in the middle of nowhere (very scary) and other engine problems after a year or so.
I can't afford to spend so much money on maintenance (these issues specifically) after spending around 1.15L .
Since this bike has been launched this year, I hope the issues are not reoccurring(in the 2017 edition).
I want this bike for daily use in city and long rides (I love touring).
Would you guys recommend this bike(2017 edition)? Or should I go for Hornet (though much less features and power)?
About a long term review, watch this.

Yeah few things were over done but owner planned it taking off road and tour a lot.. I hope he switch to dual sport tyres before getting off road..Last edited by d_lonerider; 10-29-2017, 01:43 PM.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi guys, a major issue with my ns200 has been solved. I took it to my trusted mechanic yesterday. Got the following done:
Front brake overhaul
Tappet setting
Carburetor cleaning
Air filter and air box cleaning
Half the oil had to be replaced as mechanic opened magnet cover and a lot of oil came out.
The good news is I did not have backfire since. I suspect it was the tappet. Carburetor was absolutely clean inside. I asked that to be cleaned only to be on the safe side.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
My bike is behaving well now as pickup has improved. Front brake was giving problem as brake light was on constantly, well almost. This problem is resolved now, and brake light is behaving as it should.
