I have seat cover which is like nylon mesh. It is thick springy material which is really great for city riding, as it aerates the backside while still being stiff enough (safety).

The only practical thing is seat cover with extra cushioning. You can get seat covers made (with foam or gel pads) in Delhi and Gurgaon. Not sure about your place.Originally posted by ThePossum View Post

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Went to the SVC two weeks back to rectify some tappet noise I was getting. He said he had got 4 NS's 2017 models having same problem, he had fixed it and he said all of them had the problem again. So I told him to do it either ways. After two weeks I'm again getting a slight tappet noise. So I just wanted to know if the mechanic is messed up or is it a genuine problem every one is facing. Also if you guys know any good mechanic with experience working on the NS please suggest. I'm from Bangalore btw. Thanks!

Its not a universal problem , but needs frequent adjustment like every 5000km or earlierOriginally posted by DarthVVader View PostWent to the SVC two weeks back to rectify some tappet noise I was getting. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello everyone.
I am thinking of upgrading certain parts of the bike to improve the safety and performance.
It has been difficult to find after market upgrade parts, specifically for NS. I found some for KTM Duke 200 and my questions to anyone who knows, are the following:
1) Can Brake pads sold for the Duke 200 be used on the NS?
2) Can the rear mono shock of the Duke 200 be directly fit on the NS without any loss in height, load carry capacity and adverse impact? (I have replaced the stock monoshock twice in 2 1/2 years).

200NS RACING KIT GOOD or BAD ?
I have modified my bike till the top notch..
leo vinci crobra exhaust
K&N air filter
racing sprocket
Michelin Pilot Street Radial R17 Set 110/70 and 140/70
carburetor Set to max performance
High tension Clutch cable
Brake Pressure control (rear disc)
My doubt after modifying the bike
Having a free flow exhaust and racing air filter is good for the bike or not ?
will the bike last long?
keeping the carb on max performance any side effects?
will the engine reduce in performance ?
increasing the tyre size will have any difference on the bike?
any suggestion on how to keep the bike maintained while using racing kit ?
modifying the bike is good or bad ? or just leave it stock?RAYAN AHMED

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Ns200 brakes are quite good. Is there a genuine need to change?
In my case the front suspension, one shock is leaking a little oil. I guess the oil seal is not good. Intend to get that fixed.
I never had tappet noise on my bike. But I have backfire problem which is giving problem.
Frequent adjustment of tappet should not be required. I think it points to some parts not of requisite quality. My suggestion is to keep tappet slightly loose. Tappet should not be too tight.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Clean the chain with diesel using toothbrush or chain brush, when its properly cleaned spray with chain lube and check when chain is properly tight or loose . It will be fixed . vibration depends on chain condition, clean and lube every 250km u wont have any issue .Originally posted by ShadowSlayer View PostHello All,
I bought NS 200 bs4(black) nearly 4 months back and have completed 5500 kms on it with 2 free services completed done at bajaj service center.
Recently I have been experiencing increased vibrations on the bike at 3K and 4k-5k RPM range. This is combined with vibrating noise from the console.
At 3k, its a slight vib but 4-5K range the vibrations are much more. This vibration was there when i bought the bike but recently it seems it has increased along with noise from console.
This is very disappointing for me and I'm not sure what i can do about it.
Anyone else experiencing same problem??Is there any solution for it?
Thanks

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi all,
I'm actually crazy about this bike since long,
I want to buy this bike, but I've seen lot of people are facing constant problems, like some tappet issues, radiator fan problems, electrical failures in the middle of nowhere (very scary) and other engine problems after a year or so.
I can't afford to spend so much money on maintenance (these issues specifically) after spending around 1.15L .
Since this bike has been launched this year, I hope the issues are not reoccurring(in the 2017 edition).
I want this bike for daily use in city and long rides (I love touring).
Would you guys recommend this bike(2017 edition)? Or should I go for Hornet (though much less features and power)?

The Name Kawasaki is showed as in many countries KTM or Bajaj is not available to sell their bikes so they have collaboration with KW on these countries...Originally posted by ashwanth.r View PostProper Workshop Manual (English) for 200 NS. @B7ACKTHORN - please add to first page.

If you are scared of problems... one thing is sure ... every biker faces some problem...whether they have Yamaha , Honda or Bajaj.
There is no gaurantee of problem free biking...
I am not facing any issue so far with this bike after 6 months...
My daily commute is of just 10 20 kms max and in that iam satisfied with her...
Handling no doubt unbeatable in this segment...mileage is bit low (depends how you ride).
No issues i have faced so far like others are facing e.x oil leakage, noise from brakes etc.
Recently i was on a bike trip of about 2000 kms in rajasthan
This bike performed above my expectations specially in heat.
I rode her continously for 120 kms in single strech and still doesnt feel much of a heat from the bike
Even the chain didnt got loose in my entire trip and still running good...
Brakes are good in highway but needs little bit of. Attention when you are riding at 90 to 100 (new ABS is available now)
As it is a naked bike you are going to feel lot of wind blast at high speeds.
On the other hand high speed stability is good.
Now talking about mileage when i was riding above 90 i got aprrox around 38 kmpl on highway
And when i was riding between 75 - 80
I got around 44 kmpl on highway.
Exhaust of new model is bassy
Bike looks very bold when you see her from front with AHO in traffic
I owned a Black colour not much shiny.
I dont know how others feel but i saw red one in the noon and it looks Pink but in the night red color looks killer
I recommend you to take a test ride of Yamaha FZ 25 also...
As this bikes feels very punchy after 6k RPM
And FZ is opposite of this..
Ultimately you need to decide as we can only share our experience.
Keep Riding be Safe
