    Hello rider's
My bike service was done a couple of days back carb was cleaned, spark plugs replaced , airfilter replaced and engine oil. Today my bike was feeling jerky at constant speeds from 4k to 5k rpm . It is jerky only when i ride at constant speed. What could be the problem.

Cleaning carb can cause more problems than solve. Was carb dis-assembled for cleaning? NS200 carb is very hard to set properly.
Better is to use System-G in petrol. It cleans the carb without opening it.

Most likely you need to turn velocity control screw (or air screw) clockwise half turn or more.

Thanks for your response, yes carb was dis-assembled. Today i opened the fairing by myself and found that spark plug wire was burnt that was causing the problem. Now the bike is running fine.

Can you exactly tell which wire was burnt because I'm facing similar issue from long time
Also my front disk plate is misaligned, can other option or should I buy a new disk plate

                Great the problem was resolved.

You can try System G - 10ml in one tankful, once a month. This will remove the need to open carb again.

Any reason for burnt wire? Is bike overheating. In my case, the fan was not working when I bought it, and temp light came on sometimes. My fan was burnt. Replaced the fan one month back. Since then the temp issue has not come up again.

The wire was touching with silencer pipe because of wrong fitting due to which it got burnt.

Ya just saw. That's great by Bajaj but by their standards a very subdued and soft launch just like the NS160. No reports, pics, spy pics etc.
Around 10-11k is decent for the single channel abs. Just like RS200.

Just wanted to answer your question, so you take it seriously.

Is it worth taking risk with front disk brake kit, which does most of the stopping?

Get New Original Disk from Bajaj and new brake pads. If your earlier brake pads were bad, they will screw the new disk, so try to replace both. Also, try to get the old oil flushed and fill it with new oil. The cost of oil wont be more than 100/- .

Ride slow for few hundred km's after the change. So they beed in properly.

Spending few thousands on a part, which you screwed is very good for you. Because, you dont need to pay for your doctor and medicines. Chose whom you wanna pay.
