Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Rear 140/60 no probs or modification needed..but for front 110/70 section there will an 2% error on odometer reading. Like for every 102 actual kms your odometer will show 100 kms and that's it. This is what I have observed..Originally posted by Vishnujithr View PostCan we go 140 on rear tyre without any modification??

Every thing is very good. You can really rely on those tyres on twists and turns..and plus they look super awesome..Originally posted by Vishnujithr View PostThanks...what will be the stability?
One more point while buying those tyres check where they are made.. They are either made in India or in Thailand.. Try to purchase the one made in Thailand bcoz, their rubber quality is much more softer and stickier compared to the Indian made..

1.Check tyre is fitted properly or not by a puncture shopOriginally posted by akhilbabuunni View PostHallo all, I am facing an issue while crossing white lines in roads ..the rear tire showing a dancing behaviour (small shaking ) .total odo reading is about 45k and it's 2013 model.what all I need to check ?
2.Check wheel bearing
3. But bike on main stand ,neutral gear
take your bike key ,place the end of key near to the end of alloy wheel where tyre is attached
maintain 1cm distance between end of key and alloy wheel
now with other hand rotate the tyre
and dont move the end of key
hold it in a uniform position
if the distance between ends of alloy and key remain same throughout the rotation of wheel then there is no bend on alloy wheel.
if the distance changes then theres a bend in alloy
check with both tyre

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi I'm new here, I have a few questions:
1. I had tik tik sound coming and went to bajaj svc so they checked the tappets and said they are already tight, what could be the issue?
2. I had clutch issue so they changed the plates and wire and now 1st gear isnt proper, I have to press it two three times to actually get into 1st gear. How to resolve this?
3. The mechanic changed oil to 20w40 and since then I'm facing a lot of vibrations, is it the oil or he didnt fit it properly after clutch plates changed?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Yesterday i got my ns200. Really a happiest moments, i got mrf tyres instead of the bad eurogrip tyres. First impression were
1. Power is available at all rpm
2. Seat comfort are superb when i compare with my old bike
3. Headlight visibility in night is really good
4. Switches felt really good.
Some cons i felt were
1. Fuel knobs felt its about to broke
2. When i rest my leg on foot rest of the right side my toe seems to press the brake lever a little( i think if i lower the brake lever a bit lower it can be solved)
3. I always gets confused of the gears( may b i need a getting used to)
4. Handle seems not strong( i think its becoz of the two piece handle)
All these r my first ride impression, after getting used to all these may change
The bike is awsme really a value for money
One more thing i noticed is, even after riding a 30-40km with heavy traffic ride the radiator fan hasn't turned on. When will the radiator fan gets turned on??

Usually the radiator won't turn on unless you are riding within 10KmpH for more than 10 mintues. As for me, the only time I saw my radiator turning on was during the first day, and during an uphill drive. Other than that it turns on once in a year or so
.
Technically Fan turns on only when the temperature crosses 100 degree C in the coolant and it will turn off again once the temperature reaches 90 degree. Check the values with manual.
Have a happy and safe riding.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
The best thing to do is try to go for a old discover footrest rubber, its a bit thick round and high so it will make the break lever a little down.Originally posted by Vishnujithr View PostL
Is it possible to lower the brake lever a bit. When i rest my foot the brake is applied partially. This will wear the disc pad. Any suggestion
Thanks in advance
If you try to play with the break lever by increasing its play or move it down even by SVC guys it effects the breaking ability. So better not disturb it.. I have tried to get it adjusted by so many mechanics.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Today i went to svc to rectify it if possible...they said that if the brake lever is lowered then the lever will touch the ground when we do a corner...so they told me to get used it...i also met another ns200 owner who told me has also same problem..Originally posted by randhish View PostThe best thing to do is try to go for a old discover footrest rubber, its a bit thick round and high so it will make the break lever a little down.
