Adjust the lever yourself. Open it, refit it a bit low.

Check this photo. I have highlighted the nut you need to remove in blue.
Once you remove the nut, pull the brake lever out.
Try inserting the brake lever again by tilting it down.
Once the lever is in place, tighten the screw.
Check YouTube for some help.
That service center person is one lazy ass who doesn’t want to work. Never let him touch your bike again.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Guys I'm new to xbhp. I have read a lot of people were telling that the radiator fan isn't working or kicks in after a long ride. So I've made a video to manually control it. Watch and do it if you like.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences

Hi guys..
Close to 50k mark on my 2013 200NS.
Any idea what are the parts I should change?
I've been suggested the following by various people
1) Fork springs
2) Disk plates
3) timing chain
4) coolant (never been changed)
5) Replace stock Brake line with the steel braided ones for 220
6) suspension bush
Parts already changed
1) Clutch plates
2) Rear suspension
3) Gear lever
4) Chain sprocket.
Any suggestions welcome.
Also, I'm in Kolkata. Does anyone know of a mechanic that knows their shit regarding this bike?

No changes are needed. Replace them only If you are facing issues.Originally posted by MarkNS View Post

Inspect the rear swing arm and its bearings.
Inspect rear wheel bearings and front wheel bearings. Replace those if there’s any play.
Inspect and replace T cone, if needed.
Better to change coolant. It’s life is typically 2 to 3 years. Use Bajaj coolant only.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi Buddies,
I find my tire pressure reducing quicker when compared to past. Usually when i inflate the tires after 2 weeks when i re inflate it would be just a few points lesser. Now i see the back tire go from 30 points to 11 points in 2 to 3 days. Can someone guess what might be the exact issue here ?
Thanks in advance

Check for leaks. Leak can be from tyre, or from valve stem or valve itself. Check all.Originally posted by Kiran200NS View PostHi Buddies,

You may need a new valve if leak is from valve stem.
Low air pressure is very risky in this bike as it causes heavy steering and sideways slippage. It is very important to maintain tyre pressure within +-3 psi of recommended pressure.

I've had a small accident, the fork was probably a bit bent then. I did it get fixed, but the bike still pulls slightly to the left.Originally posted by kris123456 View PostNo changes are needed. Replace them only If you are facing issues.

Might get the T Cone set changed. That might sort the issue I think.
Bearings is a good call. Never been changed I think. Will get that done too.
Thoughts about the Carburettor? One of the technicians said that that's gone too. But I'm being able to race past RS 200 and Duke 200 easily. Top speed goes to about 145-148. I don't think there's any issues with the carb. But still, what do you think? Is there any time after which it becomes mandatory to change?
Also been suggested to use an engine flush now. However I've been using fully synthetic motul 7100 for the last 40,000 Kms, so I'm assuming it's pretty clean on the inside.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
As you already had an accident and tried fixing it, but failed. Try to take the shocks to sheath machine again and get any minor imperfections fixed. Try to take on weekdays so there is less load on them and they could fix it correctly this time. Do this before changing T Cone.Originally posted by MarkNS View PostI've had a small accident, the fork was probably a bit bent then. Changing bearings with Tcone is good for you. Should give you another 50K life.
Your bike should tell you about its condition during running. Those Mechs hardly spend few min with our bike and how could they say Carb is gone? Carb is one component, which lasts for the life of the bike. Maybe he wanted to nick off your carb for one of his bike. Don't fall for these Traps.
Using Full synth oil has nothing to do with using Engine flush. go for a engine flush once every 50K. Engine flush helps, if something is getting clogged inside the engine, which isnt visible, This would be fixed. You cannot say about oil clogging/clotting unless the whole engine is dismantled. Do it once every 50K or maybe 30K.
Its an optional preventive measure, which could help avoid major problems down the line.

The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
