And yes, it is different from other Pulsar's, be in it's sound\style\performance\handling and everything except that pulsar 135 tail light
Thanks for your reply. I test drove at Jai Autos in Adyar. I drove it gently as the salesperson insisted on coming with me and I was apprehensive about opening up the throttle in a congested area.

After 7000 RPM only the we will come to know what NS is capable of doing.

one small difference between DUKE and NS since they share kind of same engine.

DUKE is having all its power at its lower and mid range so its more aggressive and quick in acceleration compared to NS.

NS is very linear, you can rev it till the end of its power band, which means you always have some juice left in your right wrist which is good thing and it gives confidence when you over take long trucks or any vehicles.

Even i knew this as just information before buying the bike but once i got mine, i really felt the power when i drive on highways and even in city traffic.
Thanks for your reply. That is one other thing that I like about the NS, the Jekyll and Hyde character. I also like the fact that it has linear delivery and it has juice all through the throttle. There have been occasions when I have been overtaking on bikes or cars and no matter how much I twist the throttle/push the pedal, the vehicle just wouldnt respond.

Does anyone knows whats the average life of NS chain sprocket Cuz my ODO nearing to 14000K and my chain making rattling sound like its touching some other metal part on bumpy road. All what the SVC do is tight it and lube it. I'm thinking to change to Duke 200 one but only if the chain sprocket is faulty. According to my periodically cleaning my chain with kerosene and lube it with chain spray should have prolong its life. Some people says kerosene should not be used for cleaning chain. i don't know how much of that is true. little help guys.

Bro kerosene works fine nothing happens..
rattling sound even after cleaning and tightening at regular interval indicates chains life is over ..
Changing complete sprocket and chain is only option
But do try to tighten the chain first

Look like they have increased the width of side walls on and made it flatter on new ns ..

                        Thanks, It is custom made.

And guys i also installed Short Clutch/Brake levers. Now for me it's easy to access them and no strain on left hand due to frequent gear changes in traffic.

                          -Slightly OT-
After i purchased my NS, my old ride- activa is taking a beating.
                          1) I was wondering if there was a solution with which i can store it for a couple years.
                          2) It will be 3y.o in few months with less than 10k on the odo how much do you think i can get if i was to sell it?
                          3) Should I just replace the battery and continue riding it every couple days?

The battery has got spoiled and there is no one to ride it except me as of now so i am looking for answers. I couldn't find the solution anywhere so i am posting it here. Please help on all 3 cases.

Get a new battery and change engine oil (use a 10w30 grade). Ride it a couple of km every other day or at the minimum start it up and let it idle for a few minutes.
Otherwise, read the last part of the owners manual and it would be explained there on how to 'store' the bike.
If you have no use for the scoot, and you get a price that you feel is fair, sell it off.

After five months I checked my toolkit to tighten the rear tyre hugger and what I saw is one crappy kit, there were no L-keys to fix those type of bolts. So I bought five of them 6mm to 2mm and funny thing is that they provide same kit with all Bajaj bikes, at least they should provide a better kit with the 200NS and the 220.....it doesn't fits a lame kit with a superb bike.....I mean take a look yourself
