well things are different between me and them.they are readily offering me ns in exchange of ls,and even asking that i can pay the rest of money later.they delivered 2 bikes in front of me.they source all their bikes from rolta.

Im getting quite worried, lots of niggles seem to be coming up, idling to misfiring

I guess Bajaj have upped their game since then. I own P150 UG 4.5 and have never experienced bottoming out of front shocks. Well, the rear is set for comfy rides so it does bottom out for me. Don't worry about it, you have got a lot of different settings ranging from hard to soft, I believe 7 in numbers so you can get it adjusted according to your needs.Nopes, no issues have cropped up like this, atleast to my knowledge of the thread. Also, the problem you listed might be for only a few. They might not have got it corrected, that's it. Chill on this front on NS. Yes it does. The dash also goes off when Engine Kill switch it used. But that is to help save the battery.Woah!! Tedious is not the recommended one, even from Bajaj. If scared about run-in, please follow the owner's manual. I would suggest stick to the manual with a small change in max speeds in each gear. I have seen how pathetic and scared to death type of run-in is mentioned in the manual so my version would be to increase the mentioned speeds by 3-5 KMPH in each gear. But this too is a bit on conservative side. Give her a couple of short bursts say like touch 60 KMPH to get things properly bed in. Change the engine oil + oil filter after say 200-250 kms (only if you want, not mandatory) and make sure you use the throttle sanely. That's it, you should be good with it.

Or I would suggest ask our common best friend - GOOGLE and search for Payeng sir's run-in method. That should be the best, trust GOOGLE and us followeres on the forum.

1. When yzf r15 with a smaller engine (no offence, its a fantastic bike), it did not come with a centre stand, and it retailed for a serious rs. 1.17 lacs, then where were you buddy? What about honda cbr 1000rr or bmw s1000rr which retails for rs. 14 and 18 lacs respectively, not having a centre stand?

Ns means naked sports. Sportsbikes abroad don't come with centre-stands. Its upto you, as to how quick you get used to it.

Rs. 500 is somewhat fine for a centre stand. It just takes the price to 95.5k, right? Its still better than some 150cc's costing 1.3 lacs, isn't it? (no offence)

2. Ok, maybe a solid reason, but will have to get the horn's power verified. And not whether its one or two horns.

3. So what? Is it that big a thing? You can't twist it left while locking??

4. Yes, that's a valid point. No worries. Ride slow right now, and after 25k kms you can change it to mrf zappers. Is it that big if you will keep your bike even for 2 years minimum?

5. Will have to ask owners if this is same all over india, or just delhi.

6. It gives you a range of approx 40 kmpl x 12 litres = 480 kilometres.
Or about 400 kms before reserve.
Is it that bad for city needs? No, i don't think so.


When people are getting a 23 horsepower bike for under rs. 1 lacs, then they are not getting fooled. They are the guys who made the wise decision "knowingly".
Can't you see any positive side to things? You're complaining about a bike which:
* retails for under a lac even today in 2012,
* makes 23 bhp,
* and could give 50 kmpl in good conditions,

which other indian/ imported bike meets all the above characteristics? Tell me?

As far as "basics" are concerned, your definition of basics is confusing. For many of us, "basics" are the engine, frame, seat, lighting, etc. Which are very good in ns i believe.

I'm not being an advocate but i don't like it, when people don't appreciate someone's efforts for flimsy reasons.
