Do they use Chain lube itself or the gear oil ? I have observed that some SVC people just apply the gear oil(no cleaning involved) and charge some 70Rs in bill saying Chain Overhowl.!!!

I just removed the spring provided at the end of the clutch cable which goes to gearbox. Now its somewhat ok.

I havent ridden much bikes other than my 150. The other bikes i have ridden occasionally are unicorn, FZ, 220 etc..The power we can feel in the first gear of NS is amazing. It simply starts to flow from rest then we can keep that momentum with the upper gears. The gear ratio is good so that we can ride in top gears even in low speeds ( which is not recommended in run in period).

Handling is superb and stability is also good, never skidded once even though I went through many portions of roads that are in bad conditions. Mono shock works well in gutters specially for pillion rider. But care should be taken while accelerating fast with a pillion rider.Due to the inertia effect the person may fall if not seated properly.

About fuel efficiency, I filled petrol for 500 rs, approximate 7 litres. There was only half litres when taking delivery of the bike. The fuel meter showed 6 points and I rode 130 kms after that still its having 5 points in the meter I will check the mileage later in proper.

Yes, its one of the Probiking SVC centres which doesn't have a dealership. They are passionate about their work, because the team is led by passionate biker, who has worked with Bajaj, Mr. Venkat Shyam. Not only the bike, one can get lot of gyan from this experienced biker as well.

BTW, got a tank guard and IND number plate. Waiting for HIDs now and touched 130Kmph today

While I was installing the number plate, few guys asked me "Kya yeh bike, Bajaj ki hai? Yeh toh pura import lagta hai" (Is this bike really from Bajaj, it looks like a imported one" ..

No doubt they did a good job, but the above process is a simple DIY, and for 70 bucks, one can do it 3-4 times in the DIY process.

duke does not get center stand .. the cleaning spray and chain lube costs more than 1k combined .. they might last for just 10-15 times of cleaning ..i cant tighten the chain myself .. all this work for 75bucks is a bargain as some professional is doing it ...

                        • @rohan200ns - didnt see that chain adjustment was also involved. If thats the case, the 70 bucks was quite OK.
                          Sorry for the OT guys.

@movies99 - Try splashing water on the rear brake disc. It will remove the dirt thats trapped in the brakes which is making such noise
