The dark yellow or medium yellow should go well. Green (florescent or any other shade) doesn't suite it at all.

Yeah medium yellow will be perfect an this cost around 350RS....for a difference white also looks somewhat good...With rim stickers NS looks lot more sportier(killer looks)..

firstly congratulations to all those who got hold of their ns and also to those who r still to get their hands on it..
Second , the main centre stand is now in stock in service centres (in mumbai, dont know about other states), got it installed in my freinds ns, the main stand makes easy to put the heavy bike to stand very comfortably, and also while pushing down one need to give a small push and the bike is off the mainstand....

Yellow one is my new ns after red one that i purchased before any showrooms had it with dem...

Lastly, captured those pics of two cousin bikes ( hope u all like it)

The back looks high and aggressive so with the seat removed, it might look even sharper.
makes it look even hotter.. single seater.. was planning to do that!

My NS is giving me starting problems....i mean if i start my bike aftr 6 hours or so..i always need to use choke for starting the engine..also i noticed that my bike's idling speed is kept at 1 rpm.. can you guys tell me if i should keep the idling speed at 1, or 1.5 rpm is ideal?? Please do check your NS's idling speed and let me know
I recommend you set the idling to 1.5k RPM.. initially, that little friction inside the new engine parts.. wait till you complete 500kms!

I know no accessories have been released for the bike yet but I want to buy a cover that will closely cover the bike. Which bike cover do you think will fit the 200?
Bullet cover should suit fine bro.. and.. yes.. I know about the wait.. it is killing me too..!!

          Now, something nice to share.

Right from the showroom there were few nigling issues with my bike, which were:
          (1) Low Oil pressure indicator blinking, (2) Radiator Fan not working, (3) Gears being quiet hard to shift, (4) There were noticeable vibes from Handlebar, foot pegs and lower half of tank extension.

The best part is that i'm nearing 700Kms mark, and astonishingly, all my problem have sorted out themselves!

The male/ female connector of the fan loose, just pressed it and voila fan works now. Low oil pressure does not blink anymore and the gears are becoming smoother day by day, and its now butter smooth suddenly! Vibes are almost negligible now. So, i'm now on ZERO issues. No disc brake sound, no starting trouble (starts in single crank in Bangalore's cold mornings), i'm just loving it!

Kudos to Bajaj for providing such a awesome machine at such a great price.
great to hear that.. happy riding bro!

The NS is only 7 kgs heavier than the CBZ which i don't think should even be considered to not going for this bike. If he is a total fresher towards riding a bike then also it wont be a problem he just has to be a little careful. Practice and gain confidence and then one can ride any bike in this world whether it is a scooty or a hayabusa for that matter.

          Just my thoughts.
          +100 to this. Totally agree.

So.. going by dealer`s words.. will have my Bumblebee by Wednesday evening...!!!
Guys, got a call from the dealer(kln, Anna Nagar, Chennai) at 5 in the evening telling that my bike has arrived. A lot of 10 vehicles arrived out of which 6 are yellow, 2 are blue and one each of black and red. Thanks govind.one for asking me to call customer care .. I was the first one to book the bike in their showroom and those losers gave the first lot to those who paid the full money first . I mailed Bajaj, and in the next 15 mins got a call from the dealer telling he is sorry and that the first red bike that comes in there second lot will be mine. And they stayed true to their word. But the registration process will take one more week so will get the bike only by next Friday :banghead: :banghead: . Sad part is I will be going out of station for 10 days, so will just take the bike and keep our and go. Will start riding only by 20th. :banghead: :banghead: Saw the bike and noted down the chassis no. No niggles. Also got my pro biker gloves today.. So double win!! Seems like I have got all the accessories before the bike itself . Got the helmet, gloves, keychain, and will be going to buy the cover..

and @govind.one, yes what you heard is true. Finally we are hearing something similar from the showroom people . And I was at the showroom today from 6-6:30. Were you there then?

              • Purpose of brakes is to stop the vehicle then can it be cleaned with a lubricant which is slippery

Cleaning with a high speed water jet is normally enough and just incase it any lubricant has been used then please pour some petrol on the pads to remove it. The brakes are new and do require some time to bed in. There is somewhere in this thread the procedure to run-in the disc brakes as well.
I had been to SVC today, I guess I have finally sorted out the rear disc breaking noise. The Service personel removed the brake pads and scrubbed it against Sand paper and I have not had the noise since then.

But the other problem is the console has got noises now. Two days back, I had taken to SVC, I reported the rear disc brake noise. Those buggers have opened the front console. Now, since then I am having sprakling like noises from the console. What could be a better solution. I had been today, he said we will have dismantle everything and look into which will take time. So, he has asked me to come on saturday.

Now, should I go to the same SVC or try the Auto Service in Banashankari?
