if its rainy.... no doubt U r gone.....

suggestion from my side better to drop from p200NS
          I disagree with this.

I myself am 5.4 and have been riding the CBZ * (which has a kerb weight of 138 kgs) for the past 8 yrs without any problem. The NS is only 7 kgs heavier than the CBZ which i don't think should even be considered to not going for this bike. If he is a total fresher towards riding a bike then also it wont be a problem he just has to be a little careful. Practice and gain confidence and then one can ride any bike in this world whether it is a scooty or a hayabusa for that matter.

          Just my thoughts.

Also I am planning to put iridium spark plugs and air filter. I would like to know will this affect its mileage. Is it necessary to put?
I am a kind of rider who wants performance but dont want to hamper my machine. Please guys help me.

Changing to a performance air filter like K & N itself will bring down your average so your wish of getting average will remain a dream.

Secondly i would not suggest that you change to an iridium spark plug right away as your bike is pretty new and changing to an iridium SP wont make any difference to your performance if it does then you wont even notice.

The NS in stock condition itself is a good machine. All these modifications can be done at a later stage when your bike becomes a lil old and you feel that there is a dip in the performance.

If looking for performance then you need to modify many things apart from spark plug and air filter.

My NS is giving me starting problems....i mean if i start my bike aftr 6 hours or so..i always need to use choke for starting the engine..also i noticed that my bike's idling speed is kept at 1 rpm.. can you guys tell me if i should keep the idling speed at 1, or 1.5 rpm is ideal?? Please do check your NS's idling speed and let me know
For a new bike the idle speed is normally kept at 1500 rpm as the engine is new and the friction between parts is lot due to which it keeps on stalling when cold.

Other factors that effect are weather, engine oil, clutch setting.

Its from the kerala motor vehicle department website. I come under KL 40 SRTO.
I was wondered to see the booking amount of different numbers. Special numbers booking amount is so high and normal numbers booking amount is 3k.
I thought its 3k for all the numbers and bidding decides the owner. But for that number its 50k even without any bid . I dont know anything about the other states motor vehicle department policies.

Bike once registered can be ridden any where in India. Isn't it? If not then why do many car/bike owners buy from near by states for eg. I have seen many Delhi registered bikes with people living in Gurgaon (Haryana).

Secondly, how can bajaj SVC guys conveniently say that it is a common problem with Pulsar? They have to provide a fix for it instead of getting away with it. What say brothers?
Purpose of brakes is to stop the vehicle then can it be cleaned with a lubricant which is slippery

Cleaning with a high speed water jet is normally enough and just incase it any lubricant has been used then please pour some petrol on the pads to remove it. The brakes are new and do require some time to bed in. There is somewhere in this thread the procedure to run-in the disc brakes as well.

Ok thanks. Yup...50k isnt feasible for most of us.

And for the debate on yellow rims for P200NS...here goes>>>

                        I think it'll go well.
