    it is not a RTO issue.. RTO registers everyday.. the dealer isn`t taking the bike.. is using the online registration which doesn`t require going to the RTO in person.. It is a dealer issue.. I will find out more details then write to Bajaj...

    Any updates when P200NS is reaching kolkata???

      @faffy. . thank you and i agree its dangerous. . i didn actually go for a full on race cause i don wana push my bike jus yet.. these were jus signal drags. . all i wanted was to check the acceleration of the bike.. slowed down soon after. and i oly looked out fr guys who were already ripping their bikes. i made sure their engines were screaming before i CHOSE to go past

      but one good race with my friend in a p220 was all that i needed to know that this bike is more than capable of handling pretty much anything on Indian roads..

        I'm an ex-owner of 220F. And I can vouch for the fact that 200NS is way faster than a 220. This bike touches 130Kmph at the drop of hat!

        Well it's true that in Delhi, I never had a problem with a "KA" registered bike. But even in Bangalore, I'm yet to be stopped for my GJ registered vehicle, in past 5 years. But I guess, they specifically target MH vehicles as they know, the IT relation between Pune and Bangalore!

        Actually, I feel it's not needed at all. 200NS is the "coolest" bike I have seen in India (literally). And in any case you have the Radiator Fan to cool things down and also the Engine Coolant overheat sensor, which will start blinking way before the "danger" zone. Infact in similar stop and go traffic, my 220 used to heat up a lot, I could feel the heat on my legs. But with 200NS I can even touch the engine panels, after spirited runs!

          If dealer is not taking up regn, then u can surely complain to Bajaj.

          well, speculated news about kolkata is by Aug mid.
          But still no official words as of now.

              Its nice...but I'd advise that rather than going for this Transformer-ish tribal design go for something beastly and original. It'll look better. You might find this design very common (I have seen design on a few bikes and cars here in Kolkata).
              The P200 deserves the best.
              I personally prefer keeping my bike free of any such designs because they tend to look crappy when they get old.
              Instead you can try this design (if you want) on the back of your helmet).

                        Hi All,
                        Could any one please tell me wheather we can get a FULL COVER CHAIN for the 200NS ?

                        This because, My home town roads are not good and the Monsoon makes them further worse.

                          I seriously doubt you'll find such an accessory for the P200NS. In your case I would rather clean and lube the chain at least once a week or twice a week if you ride a lot, even if the full cover is available it is one of the ugliest things that can happen to any motorcycle including the ones that come with it from the assembly line.

                            Don't worry! Even if you are continuously doing off-roading in rains, just get chain washed with water, and keep lubing them every 150kms or so!

                                It hasn't even been announced here and when I asked the people in the SVC where I take my P220 they told me it is a prototype so not to begin a meaningless discussion with such ignorant people I just kept my mouth shut and will patiently await for the beast to arrive sometime between december 2012 and june 2013.

                                As for the response to the brand here I would say with almost full certainty that after India, my country is the second largest market for Bajaj bikes.

                                PS: You guys are lucky with the prices there, P220 is 2.5 times costlier here so I guess the same will apply to P200NS.
