You can option Duke 200. It will kill 'em all except value for money but check the adds on in it and have to compromise on comfort or can look aftermarket.

No problem mate. NS is a good bike for sure. Infact when my friend bought it and when I rode it, I decided that NS would be my next bike. It is absolute powerpacked fun bike with respectable mileage. But 6 months of my friend's ownership changed my view. I won't go into why but after a lot of thinking I went for Gixxer.
But I respectfully disagree that NS is more flickable than Gixxer - It is one of the important factors that changed my decision in purchasing Gixxer.

I would like to ping you personally but it says you have exceeded your pm message quota and have to clear it in order to accept my message. Can you please do that? I just want to know some details regarding the two bikes and do not want to start any argument here.

          Thanks

Seeing all the comments, I was so tempted to post something. 200NS and Gixxer are not in the same league. Gixxer is a pure commuter bike, why is it even compared with 200NS which has got almost double the power of Gixxer. After riding my 200NS for 1.5 years, i just feel that FZ and Gixxer are toys compared to 200NS. The level of confidence a 200NS gives at high speeds is just awesome compared to FZ/Gixxer. Secondly FZ and Gixxer are under powered, take those bikes on a highway with a pillion and you struggle to cross 100 km/hr. 200NS will shoot till 130km/hr with out any hiccup. Gixxer is definitely an awesome commuter bike on which you can have a little fun, it will surely end up being lil more reliable than the 200NS. End of the day 200NS is the fun to ride bike. Bike with a character. Cheers to all, no hard feelings.

I'd like to know this too, also my previous question about the average cost per service.

You own an Apache ABS right? Not suggesting that ? :P
and yes. as rightly pointed out above, Gixxer and NS are not even in the same class.
just cos they have a monoshock and fat tires they cant be compared. their whole design ideology was different.

You can compare the Apache to the NS for sure. but NS beats it in all departments except probably maneuvering and ABS.

I agree.. Have been reading NS v/s Gixxer posts here... Common guys, NS is league apart from Gixxer... Although i disagree that Gixxer has better cornering abilities, but u need to get used to NS and its handling before u start cornering... It is way ahead than Gixxer once u get to know it.. Anyway don't want to start things all over again. Let the owners njoy their respective rides... [emoji6]

Well for me ,gixxer and fz are for those kids who want to be the coolest daring kid in the block ,but gets scared in between so ends up showing other things ..
It ain't about money (just a 7-8k difference) but about character.
So ,you think bajaj crap, it won't live beyond 5 years. .? Guess what I'll extract much more in that period than you would from your gixxey in 10 years.
Vibes aahh. .? Hmm , why don't you buy a activa. .? Superb comfort ,no vibes and hey ,it feels same like a fz, just gears missing.
And seriously even a cycle will corner well than ns. Still if you feel these gixxeys and fzs can corner well than meet me at any curvature and we'll see who comes out the fast and furious way.

                              Hello All,

With the help of fellow Xbhpians I have zeroed down to buy 200NS. I need to borrow some of the buying experience of the same. Kindly provide information about following,

The dealer in Gurgaon (GSM Bajaj) quoting 102500 INR including following,
                              1. Bike plus all the paperwork done by the agency
                              2. One helmet, seat cover, sporty looking small front leg guard, small saree guard
                              3. One year insurance included

Can you please help me with following,
                              1. How much bargain is possible while buying a bike?
                              2. What are the other accessories I should be looking for?
                              3. Can I change the present eurogrip tires with better one while buying itself?
                              4. Any other inspection point while collecting the bike. Dealer saying that bike will be manufactured in 2015.

If above mentioned points are explained elsewhere then kindly point me to the same. Thanks a ton.

                                1. I guess no bargain is possible not even 1 Rs but if you are stubborn and if they are melt with your words, you may get freebies lik free teflon coat, seat cover(saree guard and crash guard are comes with bike by default. They are not freebies)
                                2. Center stand,seat cover
                                3. 2015 model already coming with good MRF tyres. so no need to change tyre.
                                4. go some 100 pages before you will find the pre buy inspection points.
