Guys My NS is 6 Months old and 3500KMs on the ODO...

Recently My bike started to jerk in the lower gears so I get it to SVC. They are saying that "The Clutch plates has got weakened and need to be changed"

I have No idea why this Happened. Somebody shed some light on this..

    Thanks in advance

Do you tend to pop\slip the clutch frequently?. Apart from that, a clutch plate wear should not happen in a new bike.

I can't understand the word "slip the clutch". Could you please explain....

If Moving the bike in slow traffic by partially disengaging (pulling the lever) the clutch is called as Slipping the Clutch, Then I could say that I have to do it everyday since I have to park My bike in a very Narrow lane.

                Quick question guys.

Is the front brake very sharp for everyone?
Too much bite and bike comes to instant halt, giving the pillion a tough time?

I know it has more bite.

But is it too hard on the pillions ?

It won't be hard on the pillion if you brake progressively. Pillion comfort and brake bite is not related, its all about how you use the brakes.

It's not the Brake. It's how you Brake. Try braking progressively. Try to rev match while downshifting.

Dual horn consists of high and low tones and NS is already equipped with the low..so just go to svc and buy a high tone (will cost around 150rs) and get it fixed from shop...i got it fixed from a workshop..took only 10 mins..no extra relays needed..sounds same as p220's horns..

So I was really impressed with khivraj kasturba toad earlier.

Then came my 2nd free service.

On Monday got it done frm dem..they cleared all the issues I pointed as per the mechanic and manager.
Coolant refilled, rear disc plate changed, engine oil (bajaj) and engine oil filter changed.

Took delivery did a test ride *alone* all seemed ok.
Later on tuesday a friend was sitting behind.
I started having trouble making the bike go forward.
                                Frequent engine off while running.
                                Lots of vibration.
Not able to reach speed of even 70kmph at top gear.
Feeling like engine is applying break.
Gets from 70kmph to 40 in 100 meters stretch without applying brake or revving.
Holding clutch takes it to 60kmph in 100mtrs.
Rpm needle is vibrating like Shit.
Footrest and right side handle bar are vibrating like crazy.
                                Lots of misfiring happening.
Engine goes off during me trying to overtake.
Even a splendor was overtaking me whereas I was giving in full pressure but not able to cope up.

In sort having a tough time riding.

Went in back to them on Wednesday and they 're did all the work but to no vain.

Still the issues. Said the manager I will be shooting mail to bajaj and calling and complain about the issue.

They called me in today but I wasn't free to go.

Any idea guys what could have caused my bike to go so bad ...
