    3. Gear shifts are hard and multiple False neutral

Need your suggestion about what I should be aware of about the service as I have covered more than 50k Kms now.

    Safe riding!
    Wobbling reasons :
    Air pressure not proper.
    Bearings gone kaput.
    Cone set gone.
    Bike met with an accident.
T fork bend or alignment issue.
    T stem loose.
Had tyre change and the tyre waala didn't set the lining of the tyre properly in the rim.
    Rim bend or alignment issue.

Talking to me? I guess u quoted wrong

I had pointed out rings and not piston kit. Mostly compression loss is due to ring failure... bore in most cases is ok unless really abused by the user. Changing ring will get back the correct compression level.

When you can get stock setup for 6-7k (piston kit, rings, etc) then why would anyone want to go for reboring the engine. Most od the mechanics out there are good for nothing and people end up spending more money plus the troubles. Stock setup is always the best bet.

its a safe bet but I always get power increase even on a brand new engine just by re boring not only because of the 0.25mm oversize but also due to less clearance between the piston and liner which also reduces piston slap
and the gap between the ring budding will also be less so more compression
and the rings will be pushed further into the piston ring land so less place for compression to leak from
the company keeps too much clearance

          Then good for you brother.

I dont experiment with engine for just 10% more power. I would choose to buy a bigger bike.

Anyways let the person decide what he wants to do. He must have got some idea what he needs to do.

No point discussing our personal preferences.

The 200 NS import to the Philippines has this device that to my eye looks like a pressure equalization valve between the intake manifold and the airbox, I also noticed it is not on the native Indian 200 NS, at least pictures I have seen. It is stamped with UCAL which tells me it has something to do with the Carb, it has no electronics or wires connected to it. So my only assumption that it some how augments the constant velocity carb for either fuel consumption or performance reasons. Does anyone know what it is precisely?

The devil completed 10000kms Mark today ,and I didn't even realised it . Huh , 2years and 10k km had passed, still rev a little and it makes your head go high as on weed.
So ,just some ownership exp (I've seen ns done 1lkh+km )
                1. It has been 21 months since I came into existence of biking .
                2. Did lots of trips ,non stop ,covering 200kms in less than 130mins.
                3. Made a lot of wanna be bikers ,a small dot of my RVM.
                4. crashed thrice, learned a lot to respect the power you hold.power corrupts ,absolute power corrupted me absolutely.
                5. Gave me a chance to rediscover my nirvana, my pleasure and my hobby.
                6. Left my Gf for my bike (long story ) ,funny thing is I don't regret it .
                7. Gave me a chance to give lift to a wonderful girl and so be with her .
8 . This is one of few investments of my life (like i've made many ...) which gave more than 100% returns .totally worth it.

                9. How to measure awesomeness of a product. ? If after some time, with same amount if Money ,you'd still buy that product, it means that product has high intrinsic value . Even after 3 years of launch ,having gixxer,fzv2 , New Hondas ,even AS200 AND RS200 , if I would be out in market with 1.50LAKH ₹ ,I would still buy 200ns. Reason.
                1. Not worth to buy these fzs, gixxys etc .2 AS200 is added weight for city riding.
                3. RS200 is very rigid. Rode it for 5kms ,it's like a tank as compared to ns. The way I ride and manoeuvre in city ,RS faring will simply fall off ..!!
                4. I had r15 ,exchanged it for NS ,so no need to comment.
Somehow ,if r15 body( I mean the handling ,manoeuvring, not the plastic faring) and 200ns power synergized bike had come ,I would prefer that .in handling ,R15 is great but it lacks the fun ,and I ride ns like a Suv/ off ROAD vehicle .so it suits me very well.
                Problems faced in bike .
                1. Disc noise till 100kms.
                2. Carppy bajaj characteristic until bajaj oil was used.
                3. Tyre slips due to euroslips.
That's all. I never had any problem(my luck) and besides, I don't count bad afr ratio as a problem.
So I've been very happy with my love ,no problems, it gives 30kmpl with extreme adrenaline and I don't care for mileage
Because I ride it for fun ,not for economy, If I had to ride it for economy, I would've bought a splendour and enjoyed the same.
That's all In concise. Yes I ride low ,but I make sure that whenever or how much I ride, it's worth it ..!!

It's doing good .although goes out only like 5-8 days in a month either by me or my cousin .I don't ride it that much ,as I said ,I like to ride rough ,not caring about potholes ,uneven surfaces etc , So Economically if Rc were to be ridden like that ,I will be spending my time in svc.
Worst toll is on R15 ,no one rides it. Its only used to buy bread in the morning sometimes.so ,my another cousin has taken it off for some time (don't know when he will return it ,I keep bugging him).
Personally, I'm more into naked ,the level of mobility they provide is unmatchable, you can't do shit on faref like you can do on a naked. Plus power diff between rc and ns isn't that much to park ns in isolation, and well ,Lets not talk about R15 when we are talking about power.

                      Hahaha
                      Joys of naked bike
                      Truly said !
Why not make r15 into a track only bike ?
You stay in delhi right ?
Bic must be close then ( i guess )

Update on heating issue : turns out thermostat was fine the temp sensor socket had become loose hence no proper contact ..
The sensor is located right above the idling screw slighlty recessed inside it will be blue in color.. Disconnect it completely and the fan will kick as soon engine starts !
This was done and demonstrated by a well trained mechanic in svc .. So if any one does it do it on your own risk !

Been to bic many times ,once rode a Litre class bike (well kawa z10 to be precise ) and after you ride a Litre class bike on track ,riding any bike less than 600cc is no fun.
R15 takes ages to reach 100's once you get out of sharp bends ,corner at slow speeds ..and I kinda like rough nature+ not only fast, but quick bikes.

Sadly ,today is the day R15 IS LEAVING me forever. ..
though I rode it only for like 4000kms or so ,but it was a really good bike .It handled best in class ,smooth as butter and boy what a poser it was ..
But it wasn't swift enough for me ,and no blame you cannot expect much from 150cc. Still it was fun .
Now it has been decided against my will that having a parked bike with 1000₹ litre motul 300v eating dust is of no use. So my cousin is claiming it forever ..I wish I hadn't given the r to him for few days ,little I knew it will never come back.
Its not that I ride it much now ,but still letting go off a bike is as painful as it can be.
Only my beloved ns and RC are now there to assist my ass. Out of which ,rc also stands a lot nowadays ,with my family having a eye on it to do similar fate to rc just as they did to r15.
Will miss you r15 ,you're going into safe hands, we will meet ,but from now on ,it will be monthly ,quater yearly meet.
The Baby R has left me forever.
