Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello All,
I bought NS 200 bs4(black) nearly 4 months back and have completed 5500 kms on it with 2 free services completed done at bajaj service center.
Recently I have been experiencing increased vibrations on the bike at 3K and 4k-5k RPM range. This is combined with vibrating noise from the console.
At 3k, its a slight vib but 4-5K range the vibrations are much more. This vibration was there when i bought the bike but recently it seems it has increased along with noise from console.
This is very disappointing for me and I'm not sure what i can do about it.
Anyone else experiencing same problem??Is there any solution for it?
Thanks

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
My bike slipped and fell about 4 days back. The reason seems there was too much air in tyres, probably the petrol pump where I filled the air had a defective air pump.
I still have Eurogrip tyres. The costly learning was to be careful about air pressure, and not to have more pressure than recommended in these tyres.
The tyres need grip, and the Eurogrips are not too good with grip it seems. So better to have air on the lower side, so that the contact between tyre and road is sound.
Luckily my damage was not too much and I had only slight injury.

There are many sources of vibrations on NS. Please follow what I did and I was partially successful.Originally posted by ShadowSlayer View PostHello All,

Buy Fevibond adhesive tube. Apply this adhesive to each screw or bolt that mates a plastic surface to a metal surface. Basically this creates a rubber film between the bolt and the metal sheet and dampens the vibration transmission from metal surface to the plastic surface.
I reduced most of vibs, except handlebar, where the clip-on bars are still giving me high vibs. This is metal to metal contact. I will try inserting a rubber washer here, but has not done it so far as I am unsure if fitting will be secure enough.
Another thing is to use Motul oil which smoothens the engine somewhat.Last edited by sgarg; 10-02-2017, 01:33 PM.

I have noted no. Plates and silver part above leg gaurd is also culprit of vibration....Originally posted by sgarg View PostMy bike slipped and fell about 4 days back. The reason seems there was too much air in tyres, probably the petrol pump where I filled the air had a defective air pump.

In addition today monoshock exploded while I pass through railways, so the tail got down and bike lose control. The spring is ok, but gas part is leaking.Originally posted by alexus_l View PostI changed the oil and oil, dust seal as well in front fork about 3000 km ago, everything was ok, but now it has become too soft. What can be a reason? Thanks.
Can it be repared? Or only change full monoshock?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Guys please help. I'm planning to buy a bike in diwali. Which is 15 days from now i guess. And I'm in a dilemma. I'm not being able to choose a bike. I'm totally confused between fz25 and ns 200(ABS). You people, being ns 200 owners, please suggest me what to do. Which bike to go for?

Personally I would blindly go for NS200Originally posted by Pradhyumn98 View PostGuys please help. I'm planning to buy a bike in diwali. Which is 15 days from now i guess. And I'm in a dilemma. But my advice would be test ride both the bikes and find out which one would suit you and your requirements

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Mono-shock can be repaired as per my knowledge. However better option is to buy a new one. The old one can give you further problem even after repair as these things wear out.Originally posted by alexus_l View PostIn addition today monoshock exploded while I pass through railways, so the tail got down and bike lose control. Check if the springs in shocks have become weaker and need to be changed.Originally posted by alexus_l View PostI changed the oil and oil, dust seal as well in front fork about 3000 km ago, everything was ok, but now it has become too soft. Leaking is absent.

I have faced this problem in my previous bike.

Check amazon. You will find many.Originally posted by pratikthereddevil View PostWhat liquid is used in service centres during decarbonising of engine / carburetor....
Buy it yourself and pour into engine without draining oil. Start the engine and rev it to5k rpm and hold it there for 10 min or so as per instructions.
Drain the oils out. You are done with decarbonising.
Svc ‘s use similar items with lower quality.
