Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi ,
I am planning on buying Ns200 ABS,, before that i just need to have an idea about following things.
1 . How is the bike to ride in heavy traffic. Read at various sites that it needs frequent ear changes while riding in traffic.
2. Is it difficult for one side seated pillion riders for nominal distance travels.
3. Any of the Old NS users still having the bike. Can you please update on hw the bike is performing after 4 or 5 years.
Thanks in advance.

4 years old, close to 50k Kms. Runs like a beast. Just needs proper love and care. I do need to change a few parts now, but that's only because I like my bike in immaculate condition always. I changed to Motul 7100 20w50 engine oil after about 10k Kms. Bike transformed after that.Originally posted by Karthic38 View PostHi ,

About the one sided pillions, for short distances, it's ok. Not recommended though, because the seat is high. If it's someone elderly that needs to sit, would be difficult.
Gear changing - There is no difficulty in traffic. You need to frequently shift gears on the Duke due to short gear ratios. NS has sufficiently long gear ratios to be able to manage in traffic.

Use WD40 if you want to change your chain soon. 👍👍Originally posted by Vishnujithr View PostTommorow im taking my bike to 1st service. What are the things should i notice for the 1st service. Also can v use wd50 as chain lub and also as chain clean & prorection??
Ideally, just clean it with a little kerosene and then apply gear oil.
I use Castrol EP 90 for the same.

Will they cope with the heat of the chain when the bike is riden for 100+ kms?

Dust Sand - Yes.Originally posted by Vishnujithr View PostWill the attract dust or sand particles?

But the key is moderation. Don't pour gear oil into the chain. Apply moderately and then wipe off the rest.
100+ Kms? I ride much longer distances than that. 😂

Am going for ns200 against everybody's suggestion of classic 350. Hope it proves me right.

With your eyes closed. Classic 350 is for people who just want the stupid "Royal" feeling, without any of the associated class.Originally posted by Karthic38 View PostThanks for the response.

You can also look at Dominar if your budget permits. Much friendlier for a pillion.

I am staying away from Dominar, just for the low mileage.Originally posted by MarkNS View PostWith your eyes closed. Classic 350 is for people who just want the stupid "Royal" feeling, without any of the associated class.
