Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I have installed new rear brake pads and there is a slight rubbing noise being produced. Is this normal? What should be done to fix this?
It occurs randomly in slopes and at start of the day. I need to dis engage the clutch to hear this noise as it is so subtle yet noticeable.

Do you have the another one? I would like to pair with somebody for the purchase of a better bulb, upgrade which is in long due. Do inbox me, we can split costs.Originally posted by krixna View PostI chose the normal 100/90 exactly for this reason.Mustard Yellow 2013 200NS - Suave Bloke in the town

Regarding the brakes: it takes about 150 kms to bed in. So ride carefully, google for instructions on how to break in the new brake pads. For mental health..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Mileage:- According to my last trip I got an insane figure of 47kmpl. Most of the time I was riding at 90 to 100 and some times did touch 112. In day to day riding and commuting you can get anything between 36 to 40(mostly depends on your riding style).Originally posted by yasirfz16 View PostIs here anyone to tell me more about 200NS coz I am planning to buy one. I mean in terms of mileage, comfort, balance at high speed
Comfort:- This thing differs person to person some find the seat very hard and some say its alright. According to me the seat has adequate padding but you can encounter a soary a** if riding non stop for 2 hours.
Rear suspension is some what stiff, I feel its a perfect tune between comfort and handling and am perfectly alright with its default setting. The front does feel a bit soft though.
High speed stability:- Its not at all an issue at least for me its pretty stable even 130 kph.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
My Pulsar 200NS is 1.8 years old (12000kms). So far no change in battery performance. The clock is getting slow and in a month it is an hour behind. I complain this every time while doing 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th paid service, but nothing happens.
I do not remember where I read it, but I am under an impression that disconnecting the battery and leaving at disconnected state (to discharge any charge held up in capacitors) for 30 mins and connecting the battery will reset the clock. Then after adjusting to the correct time the poster of a message (i think in xbhp only) reported it fixed the issue. I havent tried (just lazy).
Originally posted by Santosh Nair View PostMine is way more than that. It's like 25-30 mins and now the delay as increased to like 40 mins.

Well thanks for the heads up. Will try resetting the watch to correct time and check for delays again. If the delay is again increasing then will get my battery checked. What is the approx cost for battery replace? And is it necessary to get it replaced or can it be recharged or something?Last edited by Narayanan; 08-22-2016, 06:01 PM.

What clock are you talking about? The one on the console? Isn't it digital and powers the entire console?Originally posted by Narayanan View PostMy Pulsar 200NS is 1.8 years old (12000kms). Yes it is the one on the console. The one that shows 5:27 in the following image (just took from Internet search):Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostShould last more. At least nearly 20k km.

Yes it is digital. I am not able to understand what you mean as "powers the entire console".

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Well there should be a fuse below the seat for this. Replace it. If the battery were bad, it would affect the entire console. This isn't a wall clock.Originally posted by Narayanan View PostYes it is the one on the console. The one that shows 5:27 in the following imageGot a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
