Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Thats interesting... Local dealers usually get the same through main dealers and hence add up some profit, esp when Bajaj does not hold stocks...Originally posted by yasirfz16 View PostActually ASS charge more for spare parts as for my older beast P220 I've bought spare parts (genuine) from a local dealer and at very low compared to SVC

Want to know how much a regular service costs at SVC and is it better to get serviced only at SVC?
The liquid used for the liquid engine cooling system is actually what? I mean can I buy it from some store for self refilling as I know company will charge approx double
Yasif....i am going to purchase a ns....can u please tell me what are things that i should check while buying this bike....

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Buying a second hand bike is a patience taking job, don't be too fast just check all the things, most imp is the engine it should be sealed without any heavy engine work done. In addition look for the tyres conditions, speedometer, both brakes, cooling system( working or not), and that all. First try to get a test drive of a new NS of any of your friend so that you can get an idea how much power it deliver, its pickup, engine sound n all so that u can compare it.Originally posted by the biker View Post...

I don't think console replacement will solve it either. Because a lot of people are facing the same problem, so a faulty console won't be the problem; else it could be the entire lot.Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostYou can give it a try. I have not as bothered much except when my bike was new.... Nowadays i don't look into that very often. If that doesn't solve, there is nothing you can really do other than replace the console... And I'm sure that you cannot claim any warranty for this, given the Bajaj service guys hospitality....
If you are so curious and in need of this, get a digital watch, remove the strap and stick it in dashboard... My friend has done it easily on his Unicorn...
Nice idea about the digital clock, but even I don't need to read time always. It's maybe just my OCD.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Thats not possible . U r asking about two different things . For smoothness use motul 5100 . Which will somewhat reduce the pickup. For pickup use motul 7100/ 300v which r more vibration prone .Originally posted by yasirfz16 View Postwhich is the best engine oil to use for my NS. I rode it hardly 15km per day in city traffic for my colg puprpose so which oil should I prefer? I want least vibration with high pickup

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I had discussed the same thing earlier in this thread. I got better reviews for motul 7100 20w50. And @levintt (not able to tag him) mentioned that 7100 could cause engine gasket leaks and is a common known problem. Apart from that, haven't heard any bad reviews.Originally posted by yasirfz16 View Postwhich is the best engine oil to use for my NS. . Not there fault as they are never exposed to high brands. Anyways the ques is that I can get only castrol power 1 or yamalube oil in the 20w50 (synthetic) segment, so which should I prefer?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Synthetic oils eat through rubber that doesn't meet required specs. If you by chance got second grade rubber for any part that comes into contact with synth, you're done. Bajaj outsources rubber parts, so you have to count on your luck. Not the oil's fault.Originally posted by kany1991 View Post5 months and 13k kms on 7100 never had oil leakage from gasket
