Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi Guys,
Just changed to Motul 7100 20w50 and wow it feels damn cool. Initially i was using bajaj oil up to run in period then changed to motul 5100 15w50 and was not quite happy with that because it was almost like Bajaj oil. Now 7100 was chosen because of the various user comments about it and the true nature of the oil.
Went on a cruise in varying speeds from 60 to 130 and wow it feels the bike has loosen up to 50% of the vibrations which i had previously. Ill further notice things like top speed, acceleration, mileage effect, vibrations etc. and would comment here the results.

Pulsar 200NS self start works only when clutch pressed even in neutral
I own a Pulsar 200NS 2012 model.I am aware that when self start doesnt work in any gear with clutch pulled in and works in neutral with the clutch either pulled in or relased, its the clutch switch that is the culprit. Now my bike starts only when the clutch is pressed in any gear. Is the problem still related to clutch switch?Regards,MayankPulsar 200NS parts list

You will have to get used to it or change it to bar handleOriginally posted by Arun V Dev View PostHelp
I am thinking of buying a secondhand 200NS 2012 model
i like the bike and almost everything of it but what irritates me is the weight on the handle bar , the front end seems too heavy for my liking
can anyone help me to resolve it

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
My ODO is 65k. My monoshock has been leaking. Looking to replace it with new one. Since Im commuting 100km per day, I need softer setting. I heard Duke 200 monoshock is on softer side. Is D200 monoshock better than our gas monoshock for daily commuting? I would be grateful if I get a reply. Thankyou.

AFAIK Duke suspension is harder than NS.Originally posted by saran93 View PostMy ODO is 65k. My monoshock has been leaking. Looking to replace it with new one. NS is already on the soft side. I don't think you have any better option.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
There is nothing to worry mate, it's due to the extra load. The engine will have to do extra work to pull the extra weight. So at the same rpm the speed will have to be lower. For example, what will happen if you are asked to carry a 5kg rice sack and run? Will the effort required by you to run the same distance with the extra 5kg be same as that of running without the extra 5kg?Originally posted by Hari Krishnan R View PostIm having different speed readings @ particular rpm depening on load. Usually its 57kmph@4k rpm in 6th gear. But if im with a pillion it reduces to 55.
My odo-18k kms. Is this due to clutch wear???

Its obvious..!! The greater the load, the more the pressure you need to apply..!!Originally posted by Hari Krishnan R View PostYou sure?? There was nothing like this before i guess.
Simply example of a truck with full load and truck with no load..! Which moves fast.?Last edited by abhishek_jain; 09-18-2016, 10:22 PM.

fews queries
Just ran 21k on odo.. Now i am thinking of making few changes.. I have decided to change my stock tyres (both front and rear) , which one do u recommend mrf or dunlop? As these are the only two options available.. I also am going to change my chain sprocket for the first time...and what is the best alternative to motul(castrol.)
and why dois my gear get stuck often when downshifting( No problems while upshifting)?? what should i do? and sometimes my bike seems to lose its breath for a sec or two when trying to accelerate (is it air filter problem)? and finally how do i adjust the time

??
peace....
