Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Went to karol bagh area to find a solution for our weak leg guards...
Well it seems there are no ready made solutions for our bikes.
Looks like if we really need them we gotta have em custom made.Using Tapatalk

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I think the leg guards or crash guards are made Iike that for a purpose. The guard's lower portion is bolted on the periphery of the engine and upper portion near to the frame. In case of a fall,if the guards are too strong, the force might get transfered to the frame or to the engine side and the effect of that would be really bad. If the guard's get deformed or breaks, then, other than the obvious plastic damage the costlier and more important parts will be intact.Originally posted by gunner143 View PostWent to karol bagh area to find a solution for our weak leg guards...

If you are worried about the plastic damage get frame sliders or if you are worried about your safety get good knee guardsLast edited by NitSpeed200; 05-05-2016, 08:44 PM.

Try IRc tyres used on ninja. They are awesome. 5k for a pair, only 1500 costlier than a Rev z pair but totally worth the price.Originally posted by Hari Krishnan R View PostIm thinking of changing my euroslips. Will the Mrf revz c1 150/60 and revz fc1 110/70 on front do good ??

Don't worry about their strength, worry only about their purpose.Originally posted by gunner143 View PostWent to karol bagh area to find a solution for our weak leg guards...

They are weak and Crack as soon as you hit the road horizontally, but they help in saving the frame and integrity of strength of the bike. They are easy to be replaced 110 bucks a side and the frame is too costly to be damaged.
Do they work effectively, save our legs?
I have crashed at 80 Kmph and slided on road with left side down for some meters in a jeans. Not a single scratch.
Whenever you will go down, only loss occured will be
1 leg guard
2 leg guard bolt
3 silver colour Handle bar will be bent.
That's all

Front : stock size is 100/80 =80 unit height, 110/70 =77 unit height . Resulting speedometer errorsOriginally posted by Hari Krishnan R View PostIm thinking of changing my euroslips. Will the Mrf revz c1 150/60 and revz fc1 110/70 on front do good ??
Rear: stock size 130/70 =91 unit height , 150/60 = 90 unit height
Resulting under gearing.
As a result of this setup fuel efficiency will surely decrease. Plus false speedometer- odometer readings all time.
Try to keep the front tyre of stock size , you can change rear as your requirements . For increased fuel efficiency u can use 140/70 .

I changed the coolant twice on my bike on my own. But I did not change the copper washer.Originally posted by NeVi77e View PostYup.. its not there in the parts catalogue..
I also went to the SVC at Phoenix in Lower Parel... Asked around three mechanics.. all of them looked at each other like clueless chickens..
Was hoping someone on the forum who has done the coolant change before.. may be able to help me on this.
May be you can check in a hardware store.Your bike is a part of you....

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
It is not 9amp battery. Common mistake. It is 9Ah. Means 9Ampere-hour. It's the capacity of the battery, which means it can give 1amp for 9 hours, 4.5amp for 2 hours, 9amp for 1 hour etc. You should use only 80% of 9Ah capacity, means you should not fully discharge the battery.
The starter motor draws around 250W, which is more than 20amp, but only a few seconds.
When the engine is running, the alternator can handle 100W easily. I am using 100/90W headlight bulb for more than a year now.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Please recommend dual use tyres for my NS. I anyway have to upgrade however also considering my Leh ride in Sep. The only ones that look like something in my budget are MRF METEOR and Ceat Zoom and Vertigo. Can someone please advise on performance of these.

I would have waited and get the michelins but cant bear the euroslips anymore. Even the front is skidding under hard brakingOriginally posted by vvk1999 View PostFront : stock size is 100/80 =80 unit height, 110/70 =77 unit height . Resulting speedometer errors

. So need to get one urgently
Will the bigger front cause drastic error in speedo?? And what about handing??
Any other tyre options?

140 will result in larger contact area and how does it cause increase in FE?Originally posted by vvk1999 View PostFront : stock size is 100/80 =80 unit height, 110/70 =77 unit height . Resulting speedometer errors
