Will remove the headlight tomorrow to take a closer look.
Possible. But you need to split the setup into two.... fix projector unit from outward, then place heat sink and fan from behind. I took pictures when I did, now that I have moved out to another place, I cant get it now.

Plus, the reflector needs a small cut for the exact fit.

BTW, im talking about led projectors and not those cheap led torch light kind of stuff on autorickshaw.....they are worser than any....

Yes, that's why we split the projector setup and heat sink separately and do it through front and back.....heat sink has to be fixed from behind while projector from front

Ever since I saw the Suzuki gxs s1000 f I fell in love with the concept. I want my 200 RS to have a single piece handle bar like a proper tourer.
Bro sorry to interrupt, but you said long back you were gonna sell your rs, still riding that?.

But still cornering sucks. And bledy hell, I've done 10K now and the tyres look brand new. :banghead:
That's the reason why they choose euro. Cost, plus life. They don't want owners to complain about short life...

Guys, finally transferred to Bangalore..uffff what a city with so much pollution and bumper traffic..it's not what I saw some 7/8 years back....No trees, but only malls and tech parks.....with dust everywhere...just an hour parking without cover and I found handful of dust layers [emoji21]

..so.Got my baby boy and my scooter along through package. Used Agarwal package and movers, good, but poor human communication and less skilled. Bike packing was all good...chk pictures...not a single scratch

Damn, they didnt even know the gear pattern. In the name of bringing to neutral they shifted to 5th gear... [emoji36]

However I found the fuel lid was not fully closed....already the bike was running on reserve and I kept that way for last two weeks for my transport. Today after delivery, I found the lid remained open a bit(though closed but not locked). When I check insides of tank, I saw some sediments which looked like rust or some black grains.... don't know if that happened during transit or from fuel residue all these years...

Anything that should I care about?. No rust any other places....I'm sure it won't do anything to engine but the poor carbs will become a victim.... xplod566, bro looking for u... will meet soon once I get my noc
Tips guys....

Remove tank, turn upside down and drain through filler cap. Pour one or two litres of kerosene/diesel, shake well (hold the tank tight!), empty through filler cap again. This should remove all particles. If you doubt that particles remain, filter the diesel and repeat procedure.
Pour 250ml of petrol, shake well, drain through *fuel tap*. This should clean up the diesel sticking to the tank.

Thanks bro, I assumed the same way.but how easy it is to remove the tank. Where are the mounts.plus I have some amount of fuel. So how do I drain it first....the petcock is covered fully.....should I remove side cover and then unplug the give coming from the fuel tank?.

Sometimes i really bajaj for these tiny bits.
they used such a weak crash guard that bends on first hint of trouble, all that means that your clipon bears the maximum brunt.

This means that pretty much every time you fall your connecting rod (Rs350)gets bent and if the impact is any harder it fouls the fork alignment (Rs500), this is genuinely irritating.

So pretty much every time you fall.....cha-chinng there goes your ~~1000bucks.

I m going to look for some aftermarket options today in karol bagh.

Back seat, front seat, side covers. Three bolts for tank (size12) and 2 for tank fairing (size 10). Remove hose from under the filter (which goes to carb). Disconnect fuel level sensor. Slowly lift back of tank. You'll find 2 more hoses to disconnect. From the petcock and top of fuel filter. That's it. Lift off tank carefully. Don't scratch the fairings. Keep the tank over the edge of a floor (car porch etc) *so that petcock doesn't touch anywhere*. Drain fuel. Procedure looks long, but I'll remove the tank quicker than I typed this in my tab!

The crash guard is useless for a 150 kg bike (plus your weight). Also a threat to your knees. I'm also searching, although my bike hasn't fallen down anywhere yet! Better safe than sorry.

Its sitting nicely under wraps as I have stopped using it because of summer heat and selling it has become a nightmare as not getting a good resale value as its a bajaj

So its still on for sale and I am thinking of keeping it and will try for exchange for a new bike after summer or will keep it as a project bike and will experiment on it

Two bolts for the fairing, size 10, above the radiator (one is near radiator cap, one on left side of bike). Do not remove any other 10 size bolts!
