I suspect starter motor coil. If you have doubt on battery, check the voltage. Also does it happen at every ignition on/off?, each time when you start and stop?

Changed the coolant one time @ 10k km . Now its 17k km still the level is same max . Will change it @ 20k km .
Coolant dont evaporate that easily, check for mixing with engine oil or leakage.

I know that we can ignore this problem but oil at surface attracts dirt and it doesn't look good to me. That rubber thing u have to purchase with that wire (its a full kit) so it's mandatory (according to svc.

Nope. When I start after some four hour gap. And sometimes randomly in between two signals stop and start timings.

Want to upgrade the air filter to K&N BA-2012. Ordering it from US. Need the guidance if any of you guys have upgraded it. What change will it bring to the performance of my NS.

No improvement, dont waste your money. Spend it rather on timely maintenance.

It's a high-flow air filter, means it offers less resistance to flow and lets in more air than the stock filter. To compensate for the higher air intake, you'll have to re-jet the main jet in the carb with a bigger size. When there is less air intake at lower throttle openings and lower rpms, you won't feel any difference. At bigger throttle openings, you may get an increase of 5% in bhp, that's all.

How can I re-jet the main jet in carb. Is there and additional cost involved ? It it worth upgrading ?

With the K&N the air input is more thus the output has to be more too to get the optimum performance and with the stock exhaust its not possible. So you only find difference is exhaust note.

Good explanation. Yes, with height the oxygen content reduces, but does everyone coming from other state of lower altitude to say places like Bangalore adjust the carb?. While it's good to know the carb is so reactive, but it seems to be a headache too.

But isn't a cv carb supposed to adjust to the altitude atleast a little? I know it has limits but is it so low?
