5. Reduced height by swingarm boring 15mm below existing hole
.
I often take my mom for shopping & rear seat is too high for her so needed the mod .

The new hole's centre will be 15 mm below the centre of existing hole. That is, you will mark a point 15 mm below the centre of existing hole and drill it (existing hole is for the bottom mounting of monoshock)Originally posted by vvk1999 View PostCan you show some pics to show where to drill the hole ?

Btw, where does your mom keep her feet...I guess she sits sideways, most probably

You are absolutely right bro. The entire swingarm needs to be taken of. Its an actual pain. The silencer needs to be taken off to get the swingarm off.Originally posted by vvk1999 View PostI think , swing arm have to be removed . Then some polishing also needed.
Correct me if i m wrong.
I did not have time but i will be going someday soon to give it a more cleaner look.

I removed the tyre, mudguard and brake assembly only. Takes more time for drilling and grinding/polishing, but overall work is lessOriginally posted by GauravD View PostYou are absolutely right bro. Insted if i change to a lower profile rear tyre say 140/60 , will it lower the height considerably ?Originally posted by GauravD View PostYou are absolutely right bro. The entire swingarm needs to be taken of. Its an actual pain. The silencer needs to be taken off to get the swingarm off.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Height of 130/70 is 91mm and that of 140/60 is 84mm. That's 7mm difference, which is about the width of a fingernailOriginally posted by vvk1999 View PostInsted if i change to a lower profile rear tyre say 140/60 , will it lower the height considerably ?

Do u feel any bottoming out after the change or tyre touching the upper body on full load ?Originally posted by GauravD View PostIf u r running 130/70 and then change to 140/60 the drop is only 7mm bro.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Bro i did do a pillion run today on city roads. Personally i did not face any bottoming out. Shock setting on max-1. Yet to check out on medium bad roads.Originally posted by vvk1999 View PostDo u feel any bottoming out after the change or tyre touching the upper body on full load ?
Krixna has been using this setup for quite some time now and has reported no bottom outs.
krixna - have a query bro. What IF i have a bottom out, do you think getting the monoshock side mudguard cut to half provide any extra movement gap ? I may risk getting the shocks dirty however I could use a monoshock cover in that case ? May i also request you to post a couple of pix of your setup just for comparison...Last edited by GauravD; 05-30-2016, 01:07 AM.
