Usually it's either a swing arm bushings or worn wheel bearings that cause this wobble. From what I can observe, your tire still has good amount of tread left. Check your swing arm bushings and wheel bearings, and torque the swing arm and shock absorber bolts, nuts to the right torque. Keep us posted.

Checked the wheel bearings and it is intact, there was no free play. Yet to check the swingarm bolts. The bottom allen key bolt of suspension( the end connected to swingarm) was found to be loose and I tightened it but still the stepping out issue is there

So you meant the depression at the edge? Could that be the reason?

High chances are this is the reason. Used to happen with my FZ-16 with stock rear tyre once it crossed ~20K. (Those were very soft tyres though)

            Regards.

Currently i m regretting by up sizing the rear to 140/70 mrf zapper s
I lost the pickup ,the punch. Stay with stock 130/70 , it's best. U have large variety in that size . Mrf revs s is good

                    Hello People,

I am very fond of NS, didn't have the money to buy it then. Found a good deal recently on a used 2014 edition NS (20K KM ODO). Had the money now. Bought it for 54000 after getting it checked by few riders and a mechanic.

I feel loss of power after a highway run. Is it due to engine getting hot? But when I tried touching it, it was not that hot. My AFR is screwed at 3.5 turns. Any lower setting will make bike heat up more and morning starts are a hassle. Is it a suitable setting? Also, what do you think is an ideal morning start scenario if i run the bike daily for 32 kms.

Also once my fan sensor failed, and engine overheated which caused a lot of clicking sound to be heard in the engine. Is it the tappets?

Would love to hear from you guys, thanks.

Changing to 140/70 will increase the diameter and will give the same effect as using a smaller rear sprocket, say couple of teeth less. You will be trading off low end pickup for higher end speed. Pickup and punch will decrease. The effect would not have been noticeable if you had used 140/60.

The feedback of my 200NS's brake is decreased. Is it due to low brake fluid or anything else?

                        • Pulsar 200ns - Radiator fan issue

                          Hi Guys,

I have a pulsar 200ns which is 2 years old.
A few months ago, I started facing this radiator fan issue where the fan spins very slowly when the engine heats up.
Before this, I used to hear a loud noise when the radiator fan kicks in.
My bike's dash displays the high-temperature indicator after a ride in heavy b2b traffic.
I took my bike to bajaj service center and they are asking me to change the relay and fan which costs around 2000+ rupees.
I asked them whether they have checked the fan removing the relay and connecting the fan directly, but they didn't respond properly.
All they say is that the fan is not working and they need to change the fan and relay.
I didn't let them change those since I am not sure whether they are cheating me.
Today morning, I just had a check with the radiator fan in b2b traffic and found that the radiator fan spins but very slowly.
I recently filled my coolant at shell petrol bunk which is not motul and I have a doubt whether it has caused any issues.
Also, the guy who changed the coolant filled it slightly above the max mark.
I am very concerned about the health of my engine but also have a doubt whether the service center guys will cheat me.
Please guide me to take a proper decision on this.

Standard coolants should not cause any issues, there are brands better than Motul too, so don't worry unnecessarily.

The fan can spin slowly for two reasons. One is lack of enough current/voltage. This can be caused by burning of the contacts in the relay which connects the fan motor. Two, the carbon brushes inside the motor might have worn out. In cars, usually the brushes are replaced. Don't know if the NS fan motor can be opened up for servicing. If it can't be, you have to replace the motor.

First try changing the relay alone.

Sure, I will check the relay.

For owners, did anyone of you need to go thorugh rejetting (putting copper wire through carb jets) 200NS carburettor before high altitude rides? (like Gurudongmar Lake/Khardung La)
