Upsizing to 140 won't have any impacts on swingarm. Not sure about 150. 150 is too much for the NS. Plus 150 will definitely impact top end, pickup and mileage

150 is too wide for the rim. You won't be able to use the tyre properly. Contact patch will be slim. I don't think it'll affect the top end, acceleration and mileage due to this reason.

There is no impact on swingarm and I don't think up sizing will have any impact on swing arm. The stock size 130 feels and looks undertyred and somewhat skinny for 200NS. With the stock size(130 Eurogrip) any speeds above 90 or 100 kmph was a hair raising scary experience and now with the 140 section MRF, I am yawning at 120 kmph speed in highways. The bike feels planted and straight line stability is awesome at highway speeds.

          • Pulsar NS 200 Rpm Isuue

When my bike heats up after riding it for 20 mins the engine starts giving up at about 7000rpm and if I accelerate further the rpm needle goes crazy and the engine makes weird noises and doesnt respond after crossing 8000rpm. The rpm needle only touches the 8000rpm mark. When my bike is idle and i start it, i can fully accelerate upto 11k rpm but only after heating up after 20-25 mins of riding this issue occurs.
My bike engine is in a good condition. I also got the tappet readjusted but still this issue is not solved. Ns 200 has a heat sensor. I was wondering if that had malfunctioned and is causing the problem?
And yes, I had got my bike serviced 2 months back. They had filled up the coolant. But from that time the coolant level doesn't seem to have dropped. Is the coolant flow blocked?
            Can anyone help.

Afaik Amaron batteries cost 1.8k for 9 AH. 2 years warranty. Exide should be similar. I've never heard of a sealed vrla bike battery costing 3-4k. Can you give us the source of the info?

NS200 only has an ABS variant. FI is not yet launched.

Doesn't look like a battery problem.

Do you mean the entire ODO resets? It just the time?

If it's just the time, then check a few things.

If it resets when you turn the handlebar fully from side to side. Check for any lose connections. Check for any cuts in the wire.

Most probably you have a lose connection or a wow that's cut. My friend's NS had similar issues a few years back. Took almost a week to diagnose

It was in the front. One of the wires in around the front forks. Not sure which one though.

It didn't depend on the temperature. It used to happen after 3-4hrs of idle time
