They have tried other pulsar's screw. 180's ones are same in radius but the thread pattern are thinner and so doesn't fit either. Now it's 2 weeks and my bike is just lying due to one tiny but crucial part missing.
Should i try unicorn's screw? And maybe duke's might fit??
Either they have ordered incorrectly or Bajaj cat's for this part is not updated.

Take the caliper or the old bleeder to a good 2 wheeler spares shop or HMSI spares and get a bleeder. Visually confirm the thread pitch is same.

Unicorn 150's might fit as its Bybre, I dunno about Duke.

Hi folks,

Planning for a 700 km ride (One side), thinking to upgrade my front tyre to Pirelli Sport Dragon 110/70 -17. I donot want to stick on the stock tyre, so kindly enlighten me with the cons for this upgrade, so that I can keep it in my mind and ride further.

• Pulsar 200NS engine overheat symbol flashing continuously

Hi All

I own a Pulsar 200NS (2012). From the past couple of weeks I am facing an issue with my bike.

The engine over heat symbol is flashing continuously after 8-9Kms of ride.

My workplace is 10Kms from my home. The moment I cross 8 or 9Kms, the flashing starts. Traffic is very less. I maintain a speed of 40KMPH and a maximum of 60KMPH if the road is empty. The symbol goes away once the bike is idle for an hour or so. The coolant which was topped up on the last service was not at all used. I am guessing the bike is not consuming the coolant.

I took it to the nearest Bajaj Service Centre. First, the engineer said there is some crack in head or something and that is the reason engine is not consuming the coolant. He changed it, charged me Rs.2500. But the issue is not resolved. I took it back to him and this time he said Radiator Temperature Sensor is not working. He changed that too. Issue is still not resolved. I thought there might be some issue with the Motul engine oil I use. So, I got the engine oil changed to stadard Bajaj engine oil. The issue still exists.

I am worried the engine might seize someday. Experts, please help me.

You usually don't reply to my messages, but I am trying again)
I changed my monoshock absorber for brand new one, but it broken after only 200 km ride without pillion.
Is it defect or something else?

Did you hit a pothole or something ?
I know someone with a Dominar whose mono-shock broke the same way as yours when he hit a pothole at around 60-ish speed.

• Ns 200 rear part feels really stiff

I feel each and every pot holes and every small bumps also it feels as if there is no suspension at rear. I have changed rear shock with new one but also problem is still there. Even i also changed swing arm bush but i think that was local bush and the mechanic had a trouble to put new one as he hammered really hard to push new bush. I dont know what is the real problem till now. I have showed to many svc but they say that is normal but if i compare with other ns mine one is really stiff or somewhat it feels as if there is no shock. I even have kept damping to soft.

Thanks for reply.
I am not sure that it hits a pothole, I just rode my usual daily route.
Anyway such potholes should not be a reason to broke because it is a normal situation to absorb.

The one on my brake was of 8mm but the new one bought is of 10mm.
I am attaching a picture (Since the screw had rusted, had to weld it to an iron plate to unscrew it)
And both the new screw was given as a pair for the front brake. One was silver while the other was golden in colour ( again i dont understand why they sent it as a pair when i ordered only one, both with same part number)
Has anyone tried changing the screw? And which bikes screw would be the same 8mm?

UPDATE:
Tried Pulsar 180's : doesn't fit
Unicorn's is Nissin : doesn't fit
And it is really difficult to find a spare. Been searching garage to garage for used part, still unable to find one.
Everyone suggested to buy the whole caliper set which comes for around Rs 1700. I just dont want to spend 1700 for a part that costs just rs 17.
Man, what a headache!

Try P220's, the P220's bleed nut is bigger than the one used in other Pulsars, costs 17/- per piece.

BTW, Please be aware that bleeder nuts are more or less universal so do visit car spare shops as well.

Car spare shops? Hmmm. Now that's news. Will have to go searching again. BTW have again ordered the official part number bleeder screw, just with the hope that the earlier pakaging was a mistake and maybe i will get the right one this time.

Your situation sucks. The fact is that you shouldn't be in such a situation. How can they send you a bleeder screw of s different size. The part number is correct.

Have you lodged a complaint yet? I'm sure the newer models will have the same braking setup. If they don't they can't have the same part number as the old one.

Works just fine, only the length varies and that wont cause an issue as they're usually longer.

We have motorcycles running on Maruti Suzuki Swift and Honda Civic bleeder nut's.
