Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
In my bike this place looks the same. But it also has oil leak from this part. I asked the ASC supervisor he said that almost all the 2017 models has the issue and he said we replace a coil inside it which causes the problem under warranty as soon as the part comes to stock. Hopping for that to happen.Originally posted by abhijithpreddy View Post

That's interesting , I don't have any oil leak problem in that spot or anywhere . Do update on details of the parts change and ask him if all 2017 models need to replace it .Originally posted by saran_RS200 View PostIn my bike this place looks the same. Thank you for mentioning...Originally posted by kb100 View Postreally ,if thats the case then everybike from fz to cbr will have the same issues because all of them run high compression ratio ,,kindly refrain from making statements without facts to back them up
PS: did you at least watch the video posted by that ukranian fellow before making the statement
Yes, people tend to say things before they actually know the truth. From my +30.000 mileage experience on 200NS I can conclude that is you'd change oil every 2.5-3.000 and maintain all other parts in good condition (lubed chain, lubed bearings, good sparks, good air filter, ect) AND would not ride engine above 9,000RPM for a long time or often - this bike and its engine is capable of running >60.000 without the necessity to change piston|cylinder|rings or head. My video shows that NOTHING has happened to piston|cylinder at 30.000 despite the fact that initial 2.000km ride was very tough for this vehicle. BTW - I've measured comression ration at 30.000 as well - it was ~13 - as good as new.
Two main parts in engine to look for and check occasionally are rockers (bearings) and timing chain. But both produce excessive noise and it is hard to miss the point when it should be replaced.
Other than that - no issues. So, my point - stick to shorter oil change interval, look after timing chain and rockers (check valve clearance as well), keep RPM in cruising limits and it would last..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Yes possible, but have to change middle & end box too. But most questionable thing is , it will not sound like rs200, because rs200 has bigger air intake plus its a FI bike , afr mixture will be always same unlike ns200 which has carburetorOriginally posted by yasirfz16 View PostOwning a 2012 model NS and I want to install the end chamber silencer of RS200 in my NS as I love the exhaust note of RS than NS. Is it possible to fit?

Hello guys.
Hey everyone my name is shadan I'm from Navi Mumbai. I currently own a bajaj pulsar 200 NS 2014. I've been recently having problems with my bike. So yesterday I parked my bike outside my college and came back after 3-4 hours and tried to turn on my bike so it started, I rode it for a while and stopped at a signal and turned it off and I tried to turn it on again and *bam* no response it wouldn't start at all the self was working but wouldn't crank up. Did this for at least 15 minutes but no luck, I even tried jumpstarting it but it wouldn't start. Then I removed the spark plugs (all three of them) cleaned them with a cloth but no nothing happened. Please help.

Re: Hello guys.
Vapour lock, it looks like, open your fuel lid for a while, tell me if this works. Common in almost all bikes.Originally posted by Zeeyan View PostHey everyone my name is shadan I'm from Navi Mumbai. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello members,
Today when i was cleaning my bike, i noticed that the chain rubs against some vinyl/plasticy rubber material on my bike. Is this common in all NS 200? Or is there something wrong with my bike. I have attached the image for your reference purpose

Present in all NS. It doesnt allow chain to come in contact with the metal.Originally posted by dantu.bharadwaj1 View PostHello members,

Hi Guys,
I got my PULSAR 200 NS on 07/06/2012. I am among the first few owners of PULSAR 200 NS, but company guys have told me I am the FIRST among THE FIRST ones. I was in touch with company guys for Last 8 months or so. BAJAJ guys were very helpful throughout those 8 months and they helped me a lot in getting the FIRST PULSAR 200 NS. Also after getting delivery of my vehicle Bajaj guys have always offered me help/assistance
Now coming to the bike, ITS A GEM to own. Its totally VALUE FOR MONEY. While riding the bike I found it responding very quickly. Gear shifts are smooth. Pickup is awesome. Braking is also great. And its the BEST bike that I have ever experienced.
I will give a detailed review of the bike in a weeks time. I would surely recommend it to all of you to buy it/upgrade your existing bikes.
I would like to thank everyone @ BAJAJ for making such a wonderful bike and helping me get the FIRST one.
Regards,
Chintan Shah.
