Thanks for replying @Itzli, Few more questions for you..

    1) How is the Bite after upgrading to SS Braided Brake Lines? And you did it in ASS itself or from outside Mechanic?

    2) What are the uses of the Throttle Cam? How you did it?

    3) From where did you sourced 'Front sprocket - 16 - iRevs' ? And can you post the benefits? And does it improve the chain/overall performance?

    Thanks in advance,
    Gnayak.

        1) How is the Bite after upgrading to SS Braided Brake Lines? And you did it in ASS itself or from outside Mechanic? - Bite is improved, can brake late.

        2) What are the uses of the Throttle Cam? How you did it? - Look up Dhaval Mahidharia he fabricates these by hand.

        3) From where did you sourced 'Front sprocket - 16 - iRevs' ? And can you post the benefits? And does it improve the chain/overall performance? - iRevs are the people who sell these. Bike touches 167 on the speedo and 159 on the GPS if i can find a long stretch..

        Thanks in advance,

it should be little more than an inch , maybe it's a bit too tight , too tight also causes similar sound - difficult to say from here . When bike rear shocks compress and release while riding or when with pillion rider , it needs some chain slack to do that too . Too tight is actually worse than too loose . Anyway , better get it adjusted by good mechanic .

I had the same problem with my unicorn
I dont know what is with bajaj and extra clearances

this is a picture I took of the feeler gauge after heating up the engine when u set it to 0.05mm(intake) 0.08mm(exhaust) at cold
it increased to 0.13 and 0.15mm

              2. this tak sound is not always due to chain slack, I get it too sometimes even when my chain is tight
im not sure but I have a feeling its due to play in the bushes in the wheel which hold the mounting for the sprocket

Thanks denverrodricks & Pinaki! I guess i will let this tappet thing remain as it is then. Once i get the center stand installed I will check this tak noise properly on a stationary bike.

One more question, do i need to get these brakes cleaned again? I got my bike serviced 2 weeks back only.

No need. Just wash with water to remove dirt.

Pics of my NS with the knuckle guards.. Sorry for the delay in uploading pics...that little thing called "work" got in the way..

Picked up these knuckle guards from CST road at Kurla. They were originally white. Got them painted matt black. My mechanic fixed them for me

                      Knuckle guards = 500/-
                      Paint job = 150/-

Hey guys! Today I got the center stand fitted in my bike, but it turned out to be a hectic job.

The fitting in the frame where screw [6] goes is not properly aligned, ie the screw was inclined towards bottom instead of going straight vai Hole 17 to the hole in frame. To get the stand installed, mechanic had to remove part 3 from left side of the stand, this allowed the screw to get somewhat inclined and enter the hole in the frame. Now i am only worried about this screw as it seems to have become a weak point now. Anyway lets see what happens.

Did anyone face any similar problem? I made the bike tilt on the side stand a couple of times before, i guess that's why this displacement happened!

Nice job done ...!!!! The Knuckle guards will also look fantastic on the dual tone colors of the NS 200 as it will match the the theme.

With the launch of the 200RS ABS version, it would be pretty cool if Bajaj offers an ABS option on 200NS for a 10,000Rs price hike.

And with that if we could get an option of upgrading the exhaust to RS200's.
