Yes.!! RS weigh scale tips at 165kgs which I think will be a dead weight for city traffic but will be a boon for Highway stability.Originally posted by ankur2smart View PostBut while keeping NS's weight

Weight is something that Bajaj hasn't been able to fix it. NS also weighs 5kg more in IMOOriginally posted by Saurabh Umadikar View PostYes.!! RS weigh scale tips at 165kgs which I think will be a dead weight for city traffic but will be a boon for Highway stability.

Yup.! For cost cutting purpose they use heavy materials. And use high tech and light components on the KTMs which lies in premium segment.Originally posted by ankur2smart View PostWeight is something that Bajaj hasn't been able to fix it. NS also weighs 5kg more in IMO

But for once I want to see Bajaj putting out a Bike which is selected not based on it's price. They always have that Cost advantage which let's you ignore the shortcomings.Originally posted by Saurabh Umadikar View PostYup.! For cost cutting purpose they use heavy materials. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I also want the same. A selected bike with Bajaj tag. I heard somewhere that KTM Duke twins are developed by the Bajaj Developers here in India , felt nice to hear that.Originally posted by ankur2smart View PostBut for once I want to see Bajaj putting out a Bike which is selected not based on it's price. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi everyone, posting in the blog after a long time.
My bike is 15k on odo now, but the thing is that it has lost its punch of 200NS now. It only makes loud noise when rpm is at 8kor 9k with pulsar 150 like pickup.
i thought it could be because of spark plugs so yesterday i changed all 3 plugs but still no change, pickup is comparable to P150 only. Please suggest how to get back that fizz and punch of original NS??? I dont mean that my bike is slug, but its no way near to NS that i know. Does changing air filter works??? or any other suggestion that could bring back that pickup and power of my bike. Recently had my bike serviced and changed the oil as well. Please reply what needs to be done.

It can either be the clutch plates as someone has already suggested, or get the CO level checked. My CO was something around 4.something. It should be below 2.25. My bike felt like it's extremely heavy, like someone is holding it from behind and I can't get it to run.
After getting that corrected, it's again back to normal now.
First get that checked because it's free of cost. Otherwise, the clutch plates.
