      Finally booked my 200NS
Red and Black with MRF tyres
      Onroad price 109300

Got Studds shifter helmet probiker gloves.(Soon gonna buy good riding jacket + leather gloves)

once the bike is delivered planning for 500km(round trip) trip to nilgiris(Bangalore - Mysore - Bandipur - Mudumalai - Gudalur)

If i maintain below 60kmph and keep an eye on RPM, will it be fine or shouldnt take new bike for long drive?

What are the stock tires that come with P200NS now-a-days?

[rant]Price (Ex-showroom) of the bike went up by 5000 here in Assam after the new budget. Earlier it was 93,334 now it is 98,334 rupees. I wonder why vehicles cost the most here in Assam. We\'re getting ripped off by both state, central government and companies.[/rant]

Hi fellow NSians. I have been a long follower of this thread and thank you all for sharing your experiences over here.

I also wish to share my experience regarding my Pulsar 200ns. Since past 1 month my bike was giving petrol leakage problem and despite 3 repeated visits to service station, the problem didn\'t get rectify and the petrol was completely dripping making it unviable to travel on it. Despite repeated requests to service station they couldn\'t rectify the problem and I was completely fed up with the machine. Then I was left with no option but to shoot a mail to Bajaj telling them the entire episode. The next time I went to service station, they took proper care of it and made sure that the problem didn\'t reoccur. For past 1 week now my bike is running fine.

What my experience says that if you are dissatisfied with service stations, you should immediately shoot a mail to bajaj and let them know your concern.

BTW, I\'m from Chandigarh and was talking Pratap Auto Services over here.

Yesterday a close friend of mine bought a Midnight Black Pulsar 200NS. I was going through the owner\\\'s manual to get proper knowledge about run-in period. It was stated that prior to 1000 KMs one should not exceed speed of 48km/h on 6th gear and from 1000-2000Km 54km/h on 6th gear. So I told him that and he said the bike is lugging and feels underpowered at 48km/h on 6th gear and asked me to ride it and I felt the same thing. He got paranoid and took it ASC for a quick diagnosis. The mech said nothing is wrong with the bike and one should not adhere strictly to the owner\\\'s manual.
What\\\'s your take on this fellas?

Hey everyone , first post on the thread but have been following it for quite long. Clocked a little over 13k kms on my 1 year 4 months of \'young\' bike . But have a bit of problem since the last week, the front brake pistons do not seem to retain their original position after pulling the levers for the first time, and the lever play seems to have increased everytime the front brakes are used, hope i\'m able to explain it properly, any help or advice would be much appreciated, thank you

Overhaul the brakes.. Remove calipers and regrease them..
SVC will do it.. Check brake line and reservoir also..

If you are trying to keep it under 50 in 6th gear.. bike might feel like it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s lugging.. so just don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t rev it too much.. be smooth with acceleration/gear changes. You can increase the top speed you are touching progressively.. like each day by 5km/hr over previous day\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s top speed, that should be fine.

                        Changed rear to Revz-s 130/70 r17
did a round trip of 450 kms on it ..
                        My Experience(mrf vs eurogrip) :-
                        pros :
1.Being soft compound doesnt take time to heat up as compared to eurogrip which had shitty grip when it was cold and took time to heat up ..
2.Though of same size as stock tyre it appears to be more roundish profile than eurogrip ..
3.Bike now feels more nimble or say more confident to tip into corners passively or aggressively
                        4. Not so good on broken surfaces ...

                        cons :
                        1. Being soft compound has less life and puncture prone .. ( havent faced any punctures yet and i dont think its a major issue until and unless you off-road all the time )
                        2. Fishtailing exists .. not much as eurogrip ..

Well uptil now have driven on dry tarmac only and couple of times on semi wet roads were i found tyre was trying to grip tarmac .. but didnt loss traction or slipped.. it feels like the tyre is trying its best to hold on .. on loose gravel has no problem if driven sanely .. off roading not recommended ..

But the eurogrip bloody on its way out bent the alloy and cracked it :@ donno how ! :@
total cost incured : 3200 for tyre + 100 bucks for mrf valve +1100 (to remove the rim out and weld the the crack and repaint it )=4400/-

                        New Revs-z

eurogrip : centre patch completely worn out had started to expose nylon treads :P

@broken87: bro thats some mean looking ns in your dp mind sharing some pics ? :P

                        • Pulsar 200NS Suspension Tuning

Hello, I own a Pulsar 200NS and am a noob when it comes to tuning the bike :P I recently rode from Pune to Aurangabad and despite good road condition, found the suspension of 200NS too stiff and jerky. I\'d maintained tyre pressures as 23 in front and 27 in rear. But even with little bumps on the road, I felt heavy jerks.
I know this is a sport bike and not a cruiser but I\'ve got few questions:
                          1. Is it possible/good idea to tune suspension for a more comfortable ride?
                          2. What is suitable tyre pressure for longer rides for continuous speed around 100 kmph?
                          3. Any suggestion/example for modifying seat of this bike for more comfort?

                          TIA

Hey Guys, I am a total newbie in biking section but yes my beast completed one month and I am on the edge of 500km
So just before my first free service I have some queries..
                              1. What all things are to be checked while at first free service?
                              2. Does going for motul 3100 15w50 a good option rather then stock bajaj oil?
                              3. Regarding cold start isn\'t there a perfect solution? Because even as a new bike it needs auto choke or something to get start is it normal?
                              4. The rear disk makes wierd sound while running and when I tap the rear brake it dissapears. Possible reasons?
                              5. I just changed the pilot lamp colour to red will upload pics if possible. So is there any risk of voiding warranty due to change in pilot lamp bulb?

Thanks to all who helped me either by direct action or spreading your knowledge indirectly.
May return if app becomes functional again ,as it is practically not possible to open xbhp via any other source once you've become accustomed to app ui.
